Polytechnic Sector-26 Panchkula for speech and hearing impaired persons. Subject: ln this regards, it is for information that the Department of Technical Education Haryana has started Mahagyani Rishi Ashtavakra Kendra at Govt. Polytechnic Sector-26 Panchkula offering year diploma for Speech and Hearing-lmpaired persons in the courses of Architecture, computer and Medical lab Technology. The AlICTE has also issued Letter of approval (LOA) for Mahagyani Rishi Ashtavakra Kendra, Govt. Polytechnic Sector-26, Panchkula. The eligibility for taking admission is 10 Pass with 35% marks for general students and 33% marks for SC/ST students. It is also intimated that there is no tuition fees for girl Students and tuition fees and development fees for the students has been waived off with the condition that the applicant (s) should be linked with Parivar Pehchan Patra and their family income should be less than Rs l1.80 lakh per annum. Further, it is also pertinent to mention that AICTE is also providing Pragati and Saksham scholarships of Rs 50000/- per year to all the students eligible as per their scheme. The application forms for the admissions are to be submitted in the institute from 22/07/2021 to 10.08.2021. It is therefore, requested that Haryana welfare society for persons with speech and hearing impairment may please circulate it at all their centers and offices for spreading the awareness among the aspirant students about admission in these diploma courses so that they can avail the benefit of this opportunity of Government of Haryana.
