About Me

From the age of 13 I have worn make-up especially mascara. I

usually do not leave the house unless I have at least mascara on.

Being nearly 50 I am very interested in anything which assists in

slowing down the ageing process –especially on my face. I have

always loved experimenting with make-up and trying out new

cosmetics, skin care products and body products. Perfume is also a

massive passion of mine along with Champagne.

Last year out of passion I studied for my City & Guilds in Make-Up

Artistry, I love learning new things and gained some valuable tips

that I now share with my clients.

I began my working career in 1984 as a sixteen year old. My first

job was in a shop chain, which meant getting up at 5.3am on my

weekends! I have always had a strong work ethic and been

ambitious. In 1991 I began my career in the charity sector and in 2012 I became a Chief Executive. Over

the years I have learnt lots of good and bad habits –the bad ones I really do try and improve on. My core

business experience is in leadership, coaching, mentoring, strategy, fundraising and income diversification.

In 2012 I realised that I needed a Plan B as my job was under threat and at that time I had very little in

savings and my partner is self-employed. If I lost my job we could risk losing our home. That is also when I

became a Professional Network Marketer. Network Marketing has given me the drive to start learning

again, to really look at my self-development, behaviours and to learn from others who are hugely

successful – to identify what skills they have so I can emulate them.

Through my years of learning and growing as both a business women and a person I took great motivation

from positive quotes and inspirational messages. I still find them useful for my own reflection use in my on-

line business and my clients find they help drive them forward to reach their goals in their personal and

professional lives. My two favourites are listed below as a bonus, but do feel free to draw inspiration from

the 55 listed below for your own growth and as a resource when you’re looking for the little something extra

to post about in either your social media arena or in your business.
