The uniFLOW Embedded Applet for Konica Mino-lta provides a device-integrated soluti on enabling device locking, job release from a secure print queue, print and copy accounti ng, and integra-ti on with the nati ve scanning of Konica Minolta devices. Managed by uniFLOW, Konica Minolta multi functi onal devices are easily integrated within your print fl eet.

{ Cost Center Selecti on }

uniFLOW allows organizati ons to assign costs to a cost center to allow chargeback to the appropriate customer or project code. Users can sim-ply select which cost center to charge the job to on the screen displayed on the device control panel.

{ Nati ve Scanning }

Scanning documents is an important part of user’s daily work. Documents can easily be scanned to yourself with only a few clicks aft er log-ging on at the device. Within seconds the scans become available at the user’s desks for further editi ng or distributi on.

{ One Driver for all – the uniFLOW Universal Driver }

For submitti ng jobs to Konica Minolta devices users are provided with one single driver – the uniFLOW Universal Driver. Its unique technolo-gy allows users to choose any network printer from which to release a job as print jobs will follow the user from device to device, regardless of model or manufacturer. The uniFLOW Universal Driver ensures correct output as requested which reduces user dissati sfacti on with the printi ng process and saves costs by cutti ng waste.

{ Release to any Device }

All print jobs are stored in a user’s personal secure queue unti l they are ready to release them at the printer of their choice. This can be any networked printer with the uniFLOW embedded applet installed. Users can select which of their print jobs to release from a list displayed directly on the device screen or from the uniFLOW app running on their smartphone or tablet.

{ Cost Savings, Accounti ng and Reporti ng }

Any secure print jobs that have not been collected from the Konica Mi-nolta device within a predefi ned ti me are automati cally deleted rather than sitti ng in a printer output tray. uniFLOW allows organizati ons to monitor savings made through improved printi ng practi ces e.g. deleti ng secure print jobs. With this informati on, bett er printi ng rules can be established to manage an enti re device fl eet or to create new rules and routi ng workfl ows that will decrease and opti mize printi ng within the organizati on.
