THE MISSION OF HOLY ROSARY PARISH
FRENSTAT TEXAS — THE JEWEL IN THE WOODS A PARISH OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
IN THE DIOCESE OF AUSTIN
THE PEOPLE OF HOLY ROSARY CATHOLIC CHURCH PRO-CLAIM THAT OUR MISSION IS TO BECOME A WELCOMING FAM-ILY. AS WE ARE UNITED WITH GOD, SO WE BECOME ONE WITH EACH OTHER. OUR ANCESTORS PASSED ON THE CATH-OLIC FAITH AND MORALS TO THEIR FAMILIES AND NOW IT IS OUR TURN.
WE RESPOND TO ONE ANOTHER IN THE SPIRIT OF NUR-TURING, HEALING AND CARING.
WE ARE A SMALL BUT GIVING COMMUNITY, DEDICATED TO THE SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE FAMILY, THE PARISH AND THE COMMUNITY.
WE FIND OUR STRENGTH, WISDOM AND DIRECTION THROUGH CHRIST. WE ARE STRONGLY COMMITTED TO THE CATHOLIC EDUCATION OF ANYONE WHO SEEKS GODS TRUTH.
WE ENVISION THIS PARISH COMMUNITY AS A BRIGHT LIGHT FOR THE FUTURE TO CARRY ON THE MISSION OF CHRIST. NOT ONLY FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THIS COMMU-NITY, BUT ALSO FOR THE MANY PEOPLE WHO VISIT.

Bulletin Deadlines for 2018 Bulletin Deadlines for 2018 resume the Tuesday by 9:00 am schedule. If you have anything for the January 7th bulletin, it will be due January 2nd at 9:00 am to be included. Thank you! Parish Office Closure The Parish Office was closed December 22nd at Noon - Janu-ary 1st in observance of the Christmas and New Years holi-days. We will reopen this Tuesday, January 2nd at 8:00 am. We wish you and your family a Happy New Year. Weekday Masses There are some changes to the weekday Mass schedule after the New Year holidays. There is no Mass at Holy Rosary and St. Mary on January 2 through 5, 2018. Christmas Gift Fr. Bernard is offering everyone a Christmas gift, "Joy to the World", a book written by Scott Hahn. May it inspire you to find the true Joy of Christmas, Jesus, and be transformed by his love. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 2018 Contribution Envelopes The 2018 contribution envelopes are available for pick up on the table at the entrance of the parish. Our tracking system tracks envelope usage and does not issue labels for the enve-lopes that have not been used during the year. If you do not see your box of envelopes and feel that this maybe an error in our system please contact the parish office. Please write your name on your envelope the first few weeks of 2018. We thank you for your continued support of our parish. Frozen Vietnamese egg rolls If you want to purchase frozen Vietnamese egg rolls, they are available in the St. Mary's parish office for $20 for a bag of 25 egg rolls. They are the same ones sold at St. Mary's parish fes-tival. Instruction for frying the egg rolls are included. New Year This year New Year’s falls on a Monday. The Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God, January 1st, is not a holy day of ob-ligation when it falls on Monday. Masses on Saturday, Decem-ber 30 and Sunday, December 31 fulfill the obligation of the Solemnity of the Holy Family. This clarification helps us to understand the practice of our Catholic faith. It is not an en-couragement of minimalism, doing the least possible. Every-one is invited to attend Mass with love.
