The judging panel consisted of esteemed experts from system integrator and end-user companies. Vieworks Co., Ltd was awarded a Platinum level award for their VN-25MX camera, the highest-level award given. The VN-25MX camera uses a 25 million pixel, 5,120x5,120 CMOS Global shutter image sensor mounted on a piezo-electric positioning stage. This unique combination allows the image sensor to move in 1/2 or 1/3 pixel size increments’ resulting in ultra-high resolution image capture of up to 225 million pixels. The VN-25MX camera also uses the Coaxpress high-speed digital interface allowing the camera to operate at 72 frames/sec in 25MP (native) mode or 18 frames/sec in 100MP mode. This combination of features makes the camera ideal for Document Imaging and Automated Optical Inspection system applications.
