The guidelines for promotion of students are as follows:
Sec 2 ExpressAt least 50% overall pass in EL; andAn overall percentage of at least 50%

• Understand your child’s interest(s) and strength(s)• Choose subject(s) that are aligned to your child’s interest and
strength. This will help him/her in his/her post-secondary options and career pathways.
• Guide them in charting their education and career pathways• Know the admission and pathways available. • Guide them in choosing subjects that will play up their strength(s)
and interest(s) and lead them to their aspirations.
