HISTORY OF RPL

1999 - The company Asian Packaging was promoted by Mr. B.G. Reddy 2001 - Mr. B. Sudhakar Reddy, B.Tech Polymer joined to boost the growth.

2002- Company got accreditation of ISO 9001:2000 certificates.

2006 - Company was converted into Pvt. Ltd. Company with a change in name to Rathna Packaging India Pvt Ltd 2006 - Company started Rathna Biotec Pvt. Ltd. at Palamaner in A.P. to produce extracts from medicinal plants. 2009 - Our 2nd unit at A55, SIPCOT, Hosur. Started production

Rathna Packaging was established in 1999 at SIDCO Industrial Complex, Hosur, Tamilnadu, India. The company is located about 40 kms from Bangalore. Over a Decade the company has grown significantly. We are serving to all types of industries for their packaging needs. We produce wide range of plastic packaging products. The products are supplied to prestigious clients in India as well as exported to many countries.

PRINTING •Rotogravure Printing machines:Presently We do about 20 tons of surface printing jobs in our expert machine for our esteemed customers like ITC-food division, exports to Africa and about 55 tons of reverse printing for the laminates. Our main substrates are 12 microns polyester/met pet/bopp/Polyfilm•One  Expert -2000 PAC (MLS) make operated at 200 mpm having a production capacity of 125 tons/month. The operating width is 1100 mm width. This is an 8 color machine having the defect detecting system with Auto registration controls of Quad Tech make. The machine is normally operated at the maximum speed of 190-200 mpm with Auto splicing facility due to availability of Turret system.•One 8 color Rotogravure printing machine of Fadia Engineering make operated at 150 mpm having a production capacity of 45 tons/month. This machine is manually operated.•Two 6 color rotogravure printing machines of Fadia Engineering make operated at 150 mpm having a production capacity of 80 ton.

We do two layer/three layer/four layer lamination. Our substrates being pet/ polyfilm/Alu. foil /Bopp etc. We have an imported solvent less machine and three solvent base machines which can handle the capacity of 800 tpm.

•Solvent less Lamination machine of Nordmecanica make operated at 350 mpm can handle capacity of 350 tpm. The operating width is 1100 mm.

•Three solvent base lamination machines of Fadia Engineers make operated at 160-170 mts/min  can handle capacities of 450 tons.

We are having the updated slitting machines which are operated at 450 mpm where up to 50 mm width coils can be supplied. We have slitting capacities of 1000 tons/month.

•Web control Make: This is an imported machine from Taiwan which is operated at 450 mpm and having a capacity of 350 tons/month. Facilities with auto length counter, with web aligner and auto tension control system.

•Fadia Engineers Make: There are 4 machines operated at a maximum speeds of 300 mpm and having total capacities of 650 tons/month.

We have the facilities for center seal, three side seal, Gusseted , standee pouch, D- punch facility , zipper pouches etc and additional facilities like provision of notches etc based on customer requirements up to the widths of 600 mm.

•Galaxy Machine: This has a capacity of 75 tons to 50 tons/month based on the specifications given by the customer needs. The standy pouch, gusseted, three side seal with D-punch facilities, zipper pouches, std zipp, 5 side seal facility 1000/120

•XL- Plastic machines: Two machine having the capacities of 50 tons/month. Machine width 600 mm width machine with center seal , 3 side seal, gusseted center seal. pouch length 120mm -600 mm

•Primo Pack Machines: 2 machines having the capacities of 50 tons/month. Center seal with D-pouch facility, three side sealing, guzzeted pouches up to 400 mm width

•Primo Pack machines of 600 mm width where only 2 side seal and 3 side seal is only possible. Length of pouch  120mm-600mm.

We are  Certified ISO 22000:2005 (Food Safety Management System of TUV Nord since Feb 2012).•Implementation of TPM in Nov 2012 to meet and compete with the world standards. We are now in process of going for the BRC is our next plan.
