2. GENERAL PROVIDER

OF INTEGRATION SERVICES

1. Contractual partner of MoI responsible for implementation of

individual integration plans of all clients who apply for

participation in the SIP

General provider of integration services (GPIS) further sub-contracts other

partners

In 2016 Caritas Czech Republic was contracted as GPIS

Ongoing selection procedure for a new GPIS for the year 2017 and the

following years

non-governmental organisations (NGOs)

3. THE INDIVIDUAL INTEGRATION

PLAN

The Individual Integration Plan (IIP) is prepared by GPIS in cooperation with the integration asylum centre, sub-contractor and the client. The goal of the IIP is to secure integration of the clients in key areas:

Housing Signing rental agreement for min. 12 months

Purchase of basic furniture and equipment

Work Signing full-time work contract

Education Securing education for children, especially compulsory school

attendance

Validation of diplomas

Vocational training and assistance with enhancing clients‘ qualification

Further assistance in the place of residence Assistance with registration at offices and communication

at the offices

Assistance with registration at general practitioners

Social and legal assistance

Funding of IIP

4. PROGRAMME FUNDING

1. Funding from the state budget

Up to 46,5 mil. CZK (1,7 mil. EUR)

2. AMIF funding

Up to 173,5 mil. CZK (6,4 mil. EUR) - for relocated/resettled

persons

If resettlement and relocation to the Czech Republic is not implemented, the funds will not be used.

5. ROLE OF PARTNER ORGANISATIONS

1. Refugee Facilities Administration

Provides accommodation and social assistance to clients in the first integration phase – during their stay in the integration asylum centres

Cooperates on preparation of IIP

2. NGOs, municipalities, churches and employers

Based on their contract with GPIS they ensure implementation of IIP and direct integration of clients in the second integration phase – in the place of residence

SIP‘s implementation

2. Provision of free Czech language courses for clients living in

IAC and in private housing (400 hours)

3. Basic training in the field of culture and democracy

4. Ensuring all refugee children attend compulsory education

8. ACTIVITIES OF THE MINISTRY OF

LABOUR AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS

1. Cooperation of MoLSA and its subordinated offices with GPIS

2. Providing increased assistance to authorized persons who are

registered as job applicants with the Labour Office (according to

the Law on Employment)
