PRODUCT FEATURES• Rain resistant oil based formulation. Concentrated formulation 1mL per 20kg dose rate gives more doses

per pack and an easy to use low volume dose

• Contains the potent endectocide Abamectin that controls reinfestation with Cooperia and Ostertagia for up to 14 days

• Also controls roundworms, lungworms, biting and sucking lice

• One treatment covers internal and external parasistes in cattle and deer

• Ideal during lactation for dairy cows with nil milk withholding

The vertical distribution of infective larvae on grass.

Animals grazing longer grass take in fewer L3s per mouthful of grass and larval challenge decreases.

Pasture length has a major effect on animals intake of L3s. The majority of L3 larvae are found in the lower levels of the grass. Larval challenge increases as animals graze shorter grass.

Roundworm Lifecycle

During winter, development slows or stops and available L3 numbers will generally be very low.

Spring

Roundworm Lifecycle

Development speeds up in Spring as young animals are naive and act as mulitipliers - large worm populations can establish and build quickly.

Roundworm Lifecycle

In summer, if it is dry, the worm cycle continues but L3s will not migrate and can become stockpiled in the dung.

Autumn

Roundworm Lifecycle

The arrival of autumn rains can see large numbers of L3s released onto pasture and a sudden rise in larval challenge. The highest larval challenge in New Zealand is during autumn.
