High-purity germanium lens

The FSV-7000E incorporates a high-accuracy and high-purity germanium

lens. Excellent optical technology and high-quality coating technique allow

reliable reception of infrared rays emitted from a target, ensuring clear

high-level thermal images.

Uncooled micro bolometer

The newly-developed uncooled micro bolometer receives the infrared rays

passing through the high-purity germanium lens with highest fidelity to generate

accurate thermal image. Since the uncooled micro bolometer is too sensitive

and responds to even subtle changes in temperature, a Peltier module has

been incorporated to offer ultra-precise temperature control. The element

accurately controls the temperature of devices to a constant level and ensures

best performance with low noise, high dynamic range, and great sensitivity.

Thermal image engine "Zivs" *

The "Zivs" engine provides high-level thermal image processing by taking

advantage of the high potential of the high-accuracy uncooled micro

bolometer and high-purity germanium lens.

The FSV-7000E features a built-in 3.5-inch wide LCD monitor to allow you

to check high-definition thermal images. The new "2-way backlight system"

The PC interface is IEEE1394 which allows high-speed and stable thermal image transfer. Large volume of thermal images and data can be smoothly transferred to a PC. Special IEEE1394 interface

Two types of special IEEE1394 interfaces are available: FSV-E010, an IEEE board for desktop PCs; and FSV-E020, an IEEE card for notebook PCs. These interfaces solve problems of hardware compatibility, and achieve 24/7 high-quality stable operation.

Original multi-thread processing

Newly-developed multi-thread processing algorithm has been incorporated in the FSV-S200 special IEEE1394 communication software. Images can be observed and analyzed even while they are being recorded. This allows smooth experiment by preventing improper data collection beforehand.

Various recording functions

Three types of options are selectable for storing data in a PC: High-speed recording at 60 Hz at maximum; Interval Recording at longest intervals of 16 hours; and One-shot recording for saving one still image at a time. The energy of infrared radiation is displayed as is. Only the upper and lower limit temperatures of the temperature scale can be measured accurately, and the temperatures between the limits cannot be measured accurately. As a result, temperature distribution cannot be recognized at a glance.

Each pixel is calculated for correction based on the infrared energy and various correction data before being displayed as a thermal image. Not only the upper and lower limit temperatures of the temperature scale, but also the temperatures between the limits can be measured accurately. Conventional infrared thermographies could not analyze

temperature accurately while saving moving images of thermal

data. Consequently, you could not check data until the save

operation finishes even when you encounter some problems or

failures while shooting moving images. With Apiste's

FSV-7000E, the special software contains a real-time thermal

analysis function to allow the trend to display while shooting

moving images.

Temperature measurement in different locations

The optical conversion unit allows extension of a communication

cable up to 1,000 m. This enables thermal image observation,

measurement, and analysis in various remote locations such as

unattended factories or in harsh environmental conditions.

An industry-first, original EPTC* function

There is a nonlinear relationship between the received infrared rays

and temperature which should be corrected. For accurate temperature

display, both pixel-by-pixel correction and high-speed processing are

required of thermographies. Apiste has developed original algorithm

which offers faithful pixel-by-pixel representation of the surface

temperature of a target, even for the replay of moving images.

Special close-up lens

Special lenses which can be selected according to visual fieldsto shoot thermal images, from close-up, to telephoto, or even wide-angle shots. Filter attachment enables measurement of high temperature up to 2,000°C.

The FSV-L030 special close-up lens allows image shooting with

ultra-high-resolution of 100 μm per pixel. The usable field of 32 x 24

mm ensures high precision for thermal analysis of even small
