The city’s most versatile venue, Coomera Indoor Sports Centre can host events ranging from elite sporting events to concerts, exhibitions, banquets, and business events with on-site dining.

As host venue for the Commonwealth Games Gymnastics and Netball competition this venue has been designed to world-class competition standards and includes: • eight multi-use sports courts with a building footprint of 11,760 square metres

• a gymnastics arena

The Coomera Indoor Sports Centre is a world-class multipurpose facility located in one of Australia’s fastest growing regions. Room capacitiesCoomera Indoor Sports Centre offers a range of event spaces suitable for everything from an intimate yoga class to large events.

CateringTwo kiosk facilities are situated at either end of the venue for ease of use during major events and are serviced from our in-house commercial kitchen.

For events requiring catering, we will work with you to produce a tailored package for your event.

Meeting rooms and event spacesLong roomThe long room forms the hub of the venue providing access to kiosk facilities, all courts and amenities. Additional power points are available throughout the long room. This central space offers an ideal location for promotions and exhibitions.

PlazaSituated at the entrance, the Plaza offers an open event space, featuring a high canopy and clean modern finishes.

This flexible space can cater for everything from fitness sessions and exhibitions to large outdoor events.

MezzanineThe Mezzanine provides a flexible open setting for events with prime views of the courts. The height and versatility of the space is especially suited to trade shows, exhibitions and as well as a striking venue for evening cocktail parties.

Court controllers roomLocated on the ground level, this meeting room is in close proximity to the courts and is an ideal court controller room.

Meeting room threeSituated on level one, this larger meeting space with glass walls has a modern fresh feel. It is a popular option for corporate functions, and larger boardroom lunches.

Meeting room fourMeeting room four offers the flexibility to be divided into two spaces providing an option for two completely separate meeting rooms or one larger space.

All meeting rooms are equipped with a white board, LED TV, kitchenette and power points.

Meeting room fiveMeeting room five is suitable for larger meetings, training groups and low key fitness classes such as Yoga. The room can be evenly divided into two separate highly functional spaces. Ideal for groups requiring multiple training spaces or wanting an adjoining break out area.

Sporting arenaThe Sporting arena is equipped to world class facility standards. The flexibility offered by the areas size and ceiling height also create an ideal venue for large events such as banquets, exhibitions and trade shows.

The area has the capacity to cater for up to 3590 people seated banquet style or up to 344 booths for trade shows and exhibitions.

• timber floor space 100 metres x 55 metres

• height: 14 metres.

Change roomsA total of 6 change rooms support the main sporting area. Each is equipped with player bench seats, whiteboard, uniform hooks, drinking water and amenities.

Technical summaryPower: 3 x 32 amp 5 pin outlet

Rigging: Node points are located on the bottom of each truss at approximately 6 metre centres. The maximum safe load that can be applied at each node is 2 x 100kg.

Flooring: The timber floor has a point load rating of: 10KN (1,000kg) with a 100 x 100mm contact area.

Access: The western service road is easily accessible to all event vehicles during bump in and bump out stages. Large vehicles can be parked during events and gates locked overnight.
