About Us

Dacey Ltd have been manufacturing bespoke footwear since 1972 and even today we still use many of the traditional methods of manufacture to create the shape, style and size of the shoe that is perfect for you.

However, as our footwear range has modernised over the years so to have our production methods. Our footwear uppers are now designed and patterns are cut using CAD CAM technology. Wherever possible our footwear is machine lasted and standardised sole units are used for production. Importantly we are also still able to utilize many of the traditional methods of manufacture. This includes hand lasting, hand finishing and individual pattern cutting. We are also one of the few companies with the ability to manufacture full welted footwear.

To complement our footwear range, our state-of-the-art computer aided design and milling machinery enables us to manufacture all types of functional foot orthoses on site. In addition to this, we provide our own range of semi-bespoke and modular insole systems for both the adult and paediatric markets.

Adaptations & Repairs

Metal/strap adaptations to footwear to accommodate other orthoses such as K.A.F.O’s and below knee orthoses are also available.
