When used in conjunction with the LINKFRESH Advanced Transportation the outstanding new features of the Transport Management System in core Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU9 are enhanced with further features for automation of load generation, building loads based on numbers of pallet footprints, and with enhanced mobile capabilities to pick to the load, using a work list, whilst capturing the distribution packaging handled on the transaction.

Charges of distribution packaging rental can be recorded for reconciliation of charges on distribution packaging invoices, and stock levels of such packaging can be proactively managed for inventory control, and waste reporting purposes.

The concept of ‘Pick-Ups’ and ‘Drops’ are used to manage the interactions of your haulier with customers, vendors, depots or consolidators, and ‘Appointments’ can be used to manage the timing of those interactions.

An additional concept of ‘Loading Slots’ allows for the more precise timing of how long a vehicle is likely to remain at an appointment, to be able to pro-actively manage the capacity of your loading and unloading bays.
