Academy – Food Traceability Training
GS1 Academy provides the industries with various range of training areas tosupport users understand and implement GS1 global standard. To uplifttraceability awareness on food safety, our Food Traceability Trainingwhich is developed based on the Global GTS standard has been startedsince end October 2014 and until now over 60 companies have beentrained for this training.

Recognition– Quality Food Traceability Scheme
The GS1’s GTS has been applied in "Quality Food Traceability Scheme",a scheme launched by GS1 Hong Kong to recognize and reward localenterprises who demonstrate excellence in food traceability practices.
In 2015, 14 food pioneers have been awarded for the scheme.

Anti-CounterfeitTo engage and maintain consumer relationship, the industry is movingtowards digital means to engage consumer more directly and instantly. Tosupport on this, GS1 Hong Kong has offered Value+ a Consumer TrustSolution, the solution supports the company to serialize its product byadapting SGTIN. Though a scan of the QR code of the product which storedSGTIN and extended product information, consumer can access the detailsproduct information, track and trace information as well as loyalty campaignsinformation.
Max Choice, one of thefood retailers in HongKong managed to lift upits consumer relationshipand enable them toanalyze the consumerbehavior as well as loyaltycampaigns effectiveness.
