The CSM Group Safety Program is designed to create awareness and plan for the safest workplace possible. The Behavior-Based Safety Plan was branded and developed with members of the Western Michigan University Psychology Department and applies intervention strategies to improve the actions of others, based on an understanding of what they do and why they do it.

Our behavior-based safety methodology is the platform that has allowed us to have such a great impact on project safety, which is critical not just to the trades, but to our clients and employees.

We also have a Vice President of Environmental, Health & Safety, Kevin Kirk, who is responsible for the management of the CSM Group Safety Program. In this role, he maintains and promotes policies that seek to shape behaviors towards safety-focused outcomes in the performance of construction activities.
