FIRST STEP:GROWING CONDITIONS

All tests were made inside FOMET SPA – CFPN.

Main growing conditions were determinated by

GREENHOUSE and OPEN FIELD cultivation.

Open field was realized to verify plant response

(trend) in real growth conditions. On the other

hand GREENHOUSE control, permited us to

verify root development and biomass production.

Tests started on june 4th 2018.

FIRST STEPS:PLANT STAGE BEFORE TRANSPLANTING

After a brief period of climatization due to warm

stress and temperature conditions, plants were

aclimatized inside the CFPN. All plants fulffilled

with water request in order to avoid any

possible stress. Avoid high rates of

EVAPOTRANSPIRATION was the first aim.

Kinetics of photochemical efficiency may be

evaluated during the next steps.

FIRST STEPS:PLANTS PRUNNING

All tests were pruned before transplanting.

50 plants were grown in greenhouse conditions,

each parcel of 10 plants organized with a,b,c,d

tests; b test was splited in 2 different product

concentrations.

By the side, open field cultivation was organized

in 2 parcels; one for Melissa officinalis 130 sq.mt

aprox and one forTaraxacum officinalis 130 sq. Mt

aprox. Tillage was made after the first fertilizer

application.

CONCLUSIONS:

MSc. Angelo Giambruno – FOMET SPA

• Best results were obtained using ORG ABOCA and AZOCOR®105 applied in 2 different

growth stages. The first product (ORG ABOCA) correctly respond to the first growth stages

when mixed with soil before transplanting; however we suggest a second application of ABOCA

N5 after 30 or 60 days after transplanting operations. This technique probably will improve the

fast plant development. Suggested dosages are 1,25 KG per 50 lt or 1,5 ton/Ha of ORG

ABOCA and a range of 500 to 700 Kg/Ha of ABOCA N5.

• On the other hand AZOCOR®105 has a better response after the first cut of the leaves, the

typical long nitrogen release of AZOCOR® helps the ri-vegetation of the plant, anyway we

suggest to anticipate the application at least to 45 days before cutting.

• Balanced results were also obtained using only ABOCA N5 or higher dosages of ORG ABOCA

as it’s shown in the growth curve (slide N°12).

• Highly increase the dosages of ABOCA N5 is not suggested.
