Follow these steps to completely uninstall DaDaDocs from your Salesforce Classic organization.

Note. If you installed DaDaDocs via Salesforce Classic, it is easier to uninstall it from Salesforce Classic. It’s possible to do so from Salesforce Lightning but requires additional steps.

Start uninstalling the application from the DaDaDocs Uninstall option in the DaDaDocs Settings. This step is required to remove all the objects created by DaDaDocs, deactivate permission sets and revoke any specific settings. If you skip this step and try to uninstall DaDaDocs directly from the Installed Packages page, the uninstall will fail.

1. Open DaDaDocs Settings from the Salesforce main menu in the upper right corner.

2. Scroll down the DaDaDocs Settings page to the Advanced Options section and click Uninstall next to Run Uninstall.

3. Locate DaDaDocs Enterprise in the Installed Packages section and click Unin-stall.

4. Scroll down to the bottom of the Uninstalling a Package page and select Do not save a copy of this package’s data after uninstall, tick the Yes, I want to uninstall this package checkbox and click Uninstall.

5. You will be redirected to the Installed Packages page. During this step the DaDaDocs Enterprise package might still remain in the Installed Packages section and the Delete button in the Action column of Uninstalled Packages section may be missing.



6. Wait until the DaDaDocs package removes itself completely from the Installed Packages section to the Uninstalled Packages (it may take several minutes and may require refreshing the page), and click Delete in the Action column.

7. Confirm your action by clicking OK in the pop-up.

Now your DaDaDocs package is completely uninstalled from your Salesforce Classic organization.

Follow these steps to completely uninstall DaDaDocs from your Salesforce Light-ning organization.

Note. If you installed DaDaDocs via Salesforce Classic, it is easier to uninstall it from Salesforce Classic. It’s possible to do so from Salesforce Lightning but requires additional steps. Proceed to the Salesforce Classic interface by clicking Switch to Salesforce Classic in your account dropdown menu.

Start uninstalling the application from the DaDaDocs Uninstall option in the DaDaDocs Settings. This step is required to remove all the objects created by DaDaDocs, deactivate permission sets, and revoke any specific settings. If you skip this step and try to uninstall DaDaDocs directly from the Installed Packages page, the uninstall will fail.

1. Go to the App Launcher in the upper left and select DaDaDocs Settings.

2. Scroll down the DaDaDocs Settings page to the Advanced Options section and click Uninstall next to Run Uninstall.

Troubleshooting If the uninstall fails due to some DaDaDocs components being used by the object record page, then remove those components manually and repeat the uninstall process.

1. Proceed to the object record page in the Problem description column in the Problems table (Opportunity record page in the current example).

2. Click Delete on the Opportunity Record page.

Confirm your action by clicking OK in the pop-up.

4. If the component could not be removed, click Edit Page in Lightning App Builder.

5. Remove the DaDaDocs component by clicking the cross to the upper right. Remove the DaDaDocs tab by clicking the cross next to DaDaDocs in the Tabs list and click Activation.

5.1. Click Remove As Org Default in the Activation pop-up.

5.2. Click Save in the Remove As Org Default pop-up.

Troubleshooting


5.3. Click Save, then click Back to exit the Lightning App Builder.

6. Click Delete in the Action column of your object component.

Once all the components are removed, you can go back to step 3 to finish the uninstall.
