VELA: EVACUATION SYSTEM EN 54
Voice evacuation systems are indispensable to help in emergency or fire situations. They provide clearly understandable voice messages to help people evacuate an area to safety without experiencing panic.
A voice alarm system in accordance with EN 54 is mandatory in public areas and hospital premises. Fonestar voice alarm systems are certified according to EN 54 for fire detection and fire alarm systems.
In the event of an alarm or fire, it is essential to evacuate one or more parts of the premises without causing panic. The use of verbal messages through loudspeakers instead of alarm bells or sirens, allows for a quicker and safer evacuation.

inputs and outputs, emergency control inputs for connection to switchboards, outputs to bypass attenuators, etc. Perfect to install with fire safety systems.
· Easy operation and low maintenance cost. The amplifier is fully configurable through the intuitive PC software (audio channel routing and priority levels).
· Scalable to installation requirements. Extensive management of zone microphones
· Dante® compatible for sharing message channels and background music. · ZSM-1000 and ZSM-1500 programmable players can be integrated with the
ASSIST system via SIP protocol.
> SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS · Each VELA-AMP central amplifier or VELA-EXT extension has 6 zones
with independent volume. The system supports up to 256 zones, with one central amplifier and 42 extensions.
· The complete system supports 32 fire microphones and 32 paging microphones.
· The backup amplifier VELA-BUP can be used for announcement functions and background music. It is always available as a backup amplifier in case of failure of the main amplifier.
· It has 6 control inputs and 2 status outputs for connection to the alarm centre as well as other functions.
· The VELA-V remote control can conveniently control the sources and volume of each central amplifier or extension from the wall.
