Octoberfest is coming and it’s open to families of anyone who is under 17 years old (with preference given to those who have been treated for cancer in the past three years, as well as bereaved families). Come celebrate the Fall Festival of Leaves in downtown Front Royal and enjoy fun and games at the 4-H Center. You can even ride in a parade! *NEW THIS YEAR: We’ll leave camp on Sunday morning for an optional trip to nearby Winchester to visit the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum (below), where you can explore, build, and play in a safe and fun environment reserved just for us! More details are at www.discoverymuseum.net. Cost for the weekend is just $25 per family (or check the scholarship box on the registration form and we’ll waive the fee) and covers all food, lodging, and extras. (NOTE: Lunch on Saturday is on your own in Front Royal). More info will be sent once you’ve registered. Medical needs are your responsibility, but let us know if you have special concerns. For GPS purposes, the Northern VA 4-H Center is located at 600 40H Center Drive, Front Royal, VA

To Get to 4-H Center from DC area:Take I-66W to the Linden Exit and follow 55 West into Front Royal. Turn left on 522 South and follow two miles south to Route 604/Harmony Hollow Road on right. Follow to 4-H Center.

From Richmond and Southeast:I-95 North to the Falmouth exit and follow 17 North to Warrenton. Turn right and go north on Route 29/15 towards Warrenton. Turn left on 211 West and go 20 miles to 522 North. Turn right on 522, go about 10 miles, and look for Route 604/Harmony Hollow Road on left. Follow to 4-H Center.

Points North and Southwest:Take I-81 to I-66 East. At Front Royal, take 522 South two miles past Front Royal and look for 604/Harmony Hollow Road on right. Follow to 4-H Center.
