QUESTION ONE : WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT MY IDEA? The focus group liked…• The choice of genre , as they could not think of ant other magazines like it.•The idea of using a female producer as it promotes female empowerment – they also said that it was unusual and therefore interesting •The idea of having some back ground information on the genre as it is not something that they have ever looked into.•The Neon colour theme - as they felt it really suited and complemented the genre •Not having too much written text- the group mentioned that they would become distracted and become disinterested if they were to have read an overwhelming amount of writing

QUESTION TWO: WHAT DO YOU NOT LIKE ABOUT MY IDEA?•One person said they didn’t like the idea of having puffs on my cover page , as they felt it would look tacky and unprofessional •Another person didn’t initially like the idea that I was using an upcoming producer as they felt that using an already well renowned musician would be more effective and would appeal to more people as they would already know who they were.•Someone lese questioned if the house genre would appeal to a large audience ..

QUESTION THREE: HOW COULD I IMPROVE?•Do not overload the magazine- keep it slick and professional.. Stick to one of two ideas, rather than multiple , as It may confuse the audience. •Make sure you don’t use too many neon colours as they might become too much . Could use white and black to separate out the colour.
