Focus group

Focus group My focus group consisted of 3 girls in which fit both my age range as well as my target audience description. The girls in which I chose also listen to the genre I'm focusing on regularly as well as having some the features of the typical reader for a pop magazine, in the focus group I asked them various questions as well as showing them a selection of magazines. Some of the questions in which I asked my focus group were; ‘ do you feel all the information in the magazine is appropriate?’ , ‘ do you think the layout of the magazine is good, if not why and what you change?’ the responded appropriately which helped me gain information on how to set out my magazine as well as what to feature , as well as there likes and dislikes and over all found out more about my target audience which help me to think of new ideas as well as how to develop and improve older idea’s to ensure my magazine is at the standard in which they require and deserve.

One of the questions in which I asked was; ‘point out something or someone within the magazine you like who represents pop music’ . Stephanie typically went for the boy band one direction which goes with pop as they direct the males towards teenage fans. However the other two girls choose little mix due to them seeing them as perfect role models.
