Football Manager 2010 Free Players

Players that you can sign for free at the very start of the game are really

important if you manage any club that doesn’t belong to top 10 of English

Premier League. For instance, I have signed several players for Leeds United

because they will help my club and it’s for free! So I decided to prepare list of

free Football Manager 2010 players grouped by positions.

Sebastián Viera is also a free agent goalie, 26 years old and 

international for Uruguay.

Also, Goran Ljubojevic of Croatia. Mostly a target man than can score a

lot of goals in Championship.

I haven't been following your blog before, but I stumbled in here when I

looked after wonderkids on FM09. And then I saw with very, very happy

eyes that you had my favorite team Hull as your team. But now I saw

that you didn't finish 1st in your last season and that was a pity because

Hull deserves to be 1st ;) I recently managed to become Premier League

and Champions League champions year 2018 as Hull with Sergio Agüero 

to thank that for.

as i am now on football manager ill tell you two guys i got for free who

are kinda good

Lars Stubhaug (GK): 19 year old, from norway, used to play for everton,

seem sto have good potential

according to one of my coaches (which has 16 for judge ability and 13 for

judge potental) he is 2.5 stars for ability and 4.5 stars for

potental...strengths are shot stopping, weakness is positioning

the other good one for me is a striker i found

Ibrahima Thiam: 28 years old, from sengal, used to play for some irish

team and surprisingly does not know a word of english...4 star ability

with same coach, seems to have good heading stats (heading: 16,

Strength: 16, Jumping: 17)

unfortuantly im only accrington so these two players probably would only

help people in league 2 :)

Take a look at CRISTIAN MORA (GK) he is 30 and he is fantastic, and he

is free too... and take a look at IVAN KAVIEDES (striker), he is 31, and he

is fantastic, but he is fairly slow...

VIOLA - you can get him on a free, brazilian striker, 10 caps- 2 goals. I

signed him for my altrincham game and it says he would be a decent

premier league player!!!!!!!!!!!!! hes scored 14 in 15 for me atm. SIGN

just started a norwich game signed a few players campbell, kuffor, silviu

good gk,seto good cm,dm, zicu good amr,all cheap players,but the best

free player is berkant fc bangs in the goals and chris martin already at

norwich..

Anonyomous, to load the editor you must go to 'computer' via the start

screen. Then press 'HDD C' and then press 'Program Files'. Then 'Sports

Interactive' followed by 'Football Manager 2010'. Then press 'tools'

I wasnt that impressed with becchio, so went in search of another

striker. i found angel at tenerife transfer listed 400k worth 1 million

normally, has impressive striker stats so far 23 goals in 26 games.

I got a GK called Doblos (esp) 29 for my Sheffield Wednesday side thats

just knocked Man Utd out of the league cup at Old Trafford, and are top

of the championship! I got some cheap players 2 (under £500k)! If

anyone wants a list will be glad 2 post it! Velikonja ST (slovinia U-21)is a

bargain at £300k scored 2 v Utd!

Tom easy mate, sell sell sell! Tudgay out, Johnson out, purse out, Esijas

out, u can end up with a good few mil to spend! Keep hold of Beevers,

Spurr, MacCalister n Wood as you'll need em for your Champions League

squad down the road! Cipots a good buy at £35k, Gobec £65k and

Kopteff's a must at £100k! Hope this helps!

Hi Vitaliy,

Great blog, been following for a while now.

I am also managing leeds and had no problems in my first season with a

few free transfers.

Got Camara on a free who played upfront with Harewood. 62 goals

between them. With Christian Vieri piching in a few!

also got Namouchi on a free, who I highly recommend.

Now in Jan of second season and top of championship. Carlton Cole for

725K and Nicky Shorey for 1.5M my two top signings this season as well

as Louis Saha on a free!

Working on pre-season having got QPR promoted to the Premier

League, and for just saying you will try to avoid relegation you are given

a budget of £20M to spend.

If I can't avoid relegation with that, I'll be very disappointed. Soon starts

to vanish though as the back line needs some serious shoring up.

Hi all,

I noticed the comment about not being able to find the players. I had the

same issue and then realised I was running the game on a small

database. So, I had to re start with Leeds even after promotion id the

first season, dodgy relegation battle that I managed to win in the

second and now was flying high in the Championship. It is fair to say (as

a Leeds fan) that the Leeds squad is good enough for League 1 with

some additons but no where near good enough for the Championship.

I read all the comments and noticed that nobody has a word concerning

gionatha spinosi An italian striker, 31 years old and former catania player.

With my Nîmes Olympique in french ligue 2 he has scored 10 times in 9 

games, has an average of 7.47 and worth 1.200.000€ for a wage of

8.500€ by week only. I think he should be ok to come in english league

one or championship. He seems to be a fantastic investment... :D.

walker really a superb goalie, completing half the season by 15 clean

sheets. Anyone who prefer high tempo game might avoid vieri n zuma,

so far their stat in my game is so so. Instead, main fire power is from

beckford. I'm replacing santos n camara for a pacey attacking in jan

intake. Fonseca hv high attribute, nearly bought him in. Skela is quite ok,

albeit not consistent, but still gv a few promising game.

I am managing Southampton and i brought back Pele on a free transfer,

who was released from West Brom last season, and he has been

amazing in League One, averaging 7.30 in over 30 games, so I think you

should add him to the list!

gosh, a huge blow to southampton fans. In my game, southampton

fought hard n come back to mid table. Guess they r contenders for 3rd

It's awful for any club and their fans if they go into administration. Even

as much as I dislike Leeds, I felt sorry for their fans when they suffered a

few seasons back. As such I didn't feel sorry for the idiots in charge who

overspent in such a bad way when they were in the Premiership.

Hopefully some of the current clubs that struggling financially will find

some new backing without having to go into administration. The ruling is

harsh, but I do understand why they are in place.

Southampton are one of several clubs who have suffered this fate after

being relegated from the Premiership. QPR and Leeds are two other

teams I can think of right now that have gone through that pain, and all

dropped to League One during this process.

certain good players tat initially cost u a bomb can b found in free

transfer during jan trf window open. Especially fonseca, gosh, i'm trying

to sign him again n again, he is willing to come, but permit is a problem.

Annoying yet realistic, others players like soto n beto hv same problem,

but end up cleared after i tried appeal for 3 times or more!!!!

Look at teams from Romanian and Finish leagues. They probably wont

be free but they are dirt cheap and really good! Also look at National

teams that are rank 40 below got good free players there :D

Decided to manage Leeds as well.

Good start with my first win and players signed are gr8. I seriously

recommend Lee Barnard to people using league 1 clubs. :D

Best player by far was Ze Maria and Kabous. Kabous is Algerian MC, hes

a tough tackler, and complements playmakers really well, and hes free!

Average 7.21 after 35 games for leeds, and hes Championship quality.

Low passing attribute (10) but put him in MC on defensive mode and

watch him go! Oh and Ze Maria is the playermaker I am talking about,

put him in MC, he got 21 assists and 10 goals in 31 games for leeds!

Both for free, the best two signings ever! Although Ze Maria was spent

after one season, so get him on a one year contract or sell him

quicksharp at the end of first season, cos towards may (when I started

to bench him) he can barely run!

Seriously Vitally, check out Kabous! Algerian! Quality!

much. Maybe with a very big offer, anyway, even old, he's one of the

If you need players for lower leagues(was Oxford City) Jordy Brouwer

accepted a loan to me then I signed him after the season end. In Coca

Cola Championship and he's 27 and churning out goals(3 star "good"
