The course offers an optional examination giving the successful candidates an internationally recognised formal qualification in accordance with ISO 18436-2. The course includes technical presentations, case studies, demonstrations, tutorials and hands on workshops. Learning Outcomes Participants will be able to: Understand the principles of vibration and how this relates to machine condition Perform vibration analysis of machinery and components by interpreting vibration waveforms and spectral data Participants will learn to accurately measure vibration data and select correct analyser setup Perform impact tests to determine natural frequencies Understand single plane machine balancing Maintain a database of results and trends Interpret test results in accordance with applicable specifications and standards Identify erroneous measurements. Participants will receive • Basic Machinery Vibrations textbook by Ronald L. Eshleman Course workbook Attendance certificate Candidates who successfully complete the exam will receive certification to ISO 18436-2 Lunch and morning tea provided.
