Task Environmental Services Worldwide BV was setup in 1994 by Ben J. Többen, with a career spanning more than 30 years in the oilfield drilling industry. The reason to establish Task was an increasing need for cost-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions around the exploration of oil and gas sites and the downstream storage and processing of products in the oil industry. In the following years, Task has grown and the company can rely on a team of experienced and enthusiastic engineers. The focus of Task’s projects is on a range of specialised activities in the oil and gas industry: applications for cooling fluids and slop treatment, solids control including treatment and control of waste streams.
In order to offer support to our clients in these applications, Task has developed a range of equipment and installations for solids control, waste management, separation, water treatment and mud cooling, forming a sales and rental division covering all of our services for the valued customer. In all our contacts and contracts, we aim to facilitate operations as much as possible for our customers, reduce operational and overhead costs, at the same time safeguarding the environment. We can offer competitive rates for state of the art equipment and services, contracts which may include services, and if required a service engineer who can take care of the full range of solids control and mud cooling equipment on site and who can assist the mud engineer if required.
Task’s specialists and engineers have gained their experience all over the world and have thorough knowledge of the technical, organisational and environmental requirements of their work. The company is SCC 2008/5.1 and ISO 9001:2008 certified; a substantial part of the equipment Task offers for rental has been designed and constructed in-house, including a range of worldwide patented mudcoolers which are used in onshore and offshore installations during HT/HP operations and geothermal well testing.
Since Task aims to offer custom made solutions, all equipment can be adjusted and configured to suit individual needs and demands. It can be deployed for a broad range of specialised activities amongst others solids control, mud and geothermal test water cooling, barite recovery, bentonite recycling, vacuum cutting transport and conveying, three phase decanting, oil/water separation, treatment of water, heavy metal, biological and slop oil.
