As the name implies, the valve is fixed flush with the bottom portion of the dish, and ensuresminimum volume of reactants is held in the bottom nozzle. This avoids contamination and

eliminates unreacted (dead) volume. Spindle moves only in the vertical direction when the handwheel is operated.

1 DV-TOSpindle moves upwards to open. In closed position, the PTFEvalve seat facilitates minimum dead volume.

2 DV-BOSpindle moves downwards to open. In closed position, media in

the nozzle remains as dead volume.

3 DV-TO-TS

Same as in DV-TO, but with temperature sensing arrangementwith Tantalum tip. Facilitates sensing of temperatures of thereactants at volume lower than sensing volume of thermowell /

baffle.

4 DV-TO-BESame as in DV-TO, but with bellow arrangement to minimize

retained material in the valve body.

5 DV-TO-BE-TS A combination of DV-TO-BE & DV-TO-TS

6 DV-TO-AC

Same as in DV-TO, but with pneumatic actuator to facilitate

remote operation & automation. This also provides safety forthe personnel.

7 DV-TO-PKSame as in DV-TO, but with a spindle that facilitates dislodgingthe chocked solids around the valve during its upward motionand clearing way for discharge, though at reduced rate.

8 DV-TO-PK-TS

Same as DV-TO-PK, but with temperature sensing arrangementwith Tantalum tip, for facilitating sensing of temperatures of the

reactants at volume lower than sensing volume of thermowell /baffle.

9 DV-TO-SN

Available in only SSGL construction. Operation is similar to thatof DV-TO, but with a nozzle of 20 NB size on the valve body.

This facilitates purging of gas to clear chocking in valve or

discharge line.
