aWorkover success confirmation after perforation of new interval (green) below watered Ghazal. New zone
performed at 225m3/d and 40% WC. However, during welltest there was no backflow, all produced fluid went
to Ghazal-Zarga zone (depleted heavily). North Side tested all intervals commingled , i.e. New zone + Ghazal-
Zarga, (results shown at second test after red arrow). Gross was 240m3/d, WC 98%. No oil flow. Old interval
dominated during production test. It was recommended to the Client to shut-off Ghazal-Zarga formation,
cement squeeze was done. After cement squeeze well running by properly selected based on 1st test results ESP
at 250m3/d with 44% WC.
