I N S T A L L A T I O N

To stiffen a flexible connector:(Recommended for Commercial applications)

1. Lay out theconnector as younormally do.

2. Bend seam up to90º on brake asindicated indrawing.

3. Using heavy snips,notch standing seamat bend points.

4. Bend to formcompletedconnector.

To seam flexible connector at corner of connector:

1. Cut through centerof lock as indicated.Cut 1" to 1 1/2"deep to allowsufficient lap.

3. Put a liberal amount of sealant between the twofabric flaps and press the two pieces together toallow the sealant to spread out. Roll the flap endstogether and staple the seal 1" O.C. (goingthrough both pieces of fabric and the sealant).Allow a minimum of 24 hours curing time beforeflexing the connection.

Pull fabric free of lock.Snip severed lock as

indicated. Ends of metalare now ready for bendingand joining.

From edge of connector,cut away metal as

indicated. Metal falls awayexposing fabric ready forseaming.
