Kompress Flexible Conduits are a fully comprehensive range of both metallic and non-metallic

flexible tubing and associated accessories.

The products cover all known requirements of the industrial electrical market place and are supplied

in accordance with our ISO 9002 accreditation.

A range of strip wound conduits, with or without cover, including braided types and liquid tight coverings,

together with fittings to complement and provide sealing up to IP 67.

A pliable system of corrugated leaded steel is also available.

A range of conduits manufactured from PVC, Polypropylene or Nylon with annular corrugations;

also a spiral wound, extremely flexible PVC system.

Kompress leads the market in the provision of convenient conduit Contractor Packs. These come complete

with fittings in a wide range of systems and are packaged in sturdy carry boxes.

The range of Kompress conduit accessories is part of an ongoing development programme which already

includes adaptors, thread convertors, locknuts and splices.

Most types of conduit both metallic & non-metallic can be offered cut to any required length. Various fittings

can also be pre-assembled.

The Kompress part numbering system has been carefully devised to help the specifier understand

and recognise each element of the code. This simple part numbering system

makes specifying easy without constant reference to the catalogue.

This is how the part number is created:-

Protected againstwater jets.Water projected by a nozzleaginst the enclosure from anydirection shall have no harmfuleffect.

Protected againstheavy seas.Water from heavy seas or waterprojected in powerful jets shallnot enter the enclosure inharmful quantities .

Protected againstthe effects ofimmersion.Ingress of water in a harmfulquantity shall not be possiblewhen the enclosure is immersedin water under definedconditions of pressure and time.

Protected againstsubmersion.The equipment is suitable forcontinuous submersion in waterunder conditions which shall bespecified by the manufacturer.Note: Normally this will mean thatthe equipment is hermeticallysealed. However with certaintypes of equipment it can meanthat water can enter but only insuch a manner that it produces noharmful effects.
