Flex-‐Europa was formed in early 1992 to serve the InternaAonal Sign, Architectural Branding, DecoraAon, Billboard, POS and Digital PrinAng Industries. Since this Ame we have been at the forefront of membrane development keeping pace with the march of new Digital prinAng technology. Our printable products are now used by industry leading printers in prinAng, internal branding, decoraAon, film/theatre back drops, backlit & frontlit billboards, adverAsing, construcAon covers, point of sales and many more applicaAons in visual communicaAon.
Our aim is to specialise in flexible prinAng substrates and its complemented products for the visual communicaAon, visual retail branding, signage, digital prinAng and architectural industries, whilst offering a fully integrated component system.

Murals & Wall Covering. Our bespoke wall-‐coverings and wide range of premium substrates offer an individualisAc alternaAve to convenAonal wallpapers and wall-‐covering materials. Flex-‐Europa has an endless bespoke range of substrates from soS texAles to paper to hardwearing commercial products. Our textured embossing will add a whole new dimension to any covered area. As well as self adhesive coverings that reduce Ame and labour. Our extensive range of materials can all be configured to bespoke requirements and can be printed to create customisable designs. As well as our exciAng bespoke range, we have a
large selecAon of premium wall-‐covering mediums that offer everything from high-‐grade silk fabrics to unconvenAonal materials such as corks and gliTering metallic papers. Q. Will Dreamscape work on my printer? A. Our vinyl media has been engineered for solvent and Eco-‐solvent digital printers. This product has also been used in gravure, flexographic, and lithographic work shops. We are currently tesAng these materials to see how they will react with UV printers. We are also developing coated materials for aqueous based printers. Q: My printer can only handle a certain width, weight, and diameter roll -‐ which items work on my printer? A: We have created a PDF chart which lists our enAre product line and details which rolls fit which machines. Q: Will the bumpy surface of some embossing cause image deterioraAon? A: The embossing does not diminish the quality of your print clarity. The peaks and valleys of the embossing will be filled in by the spray of the ink jet head. Many users have reported that the embossing oSen hides print and/ or file imperfecAons which would be more easily noAceable on a flat surface. For example, the undesirable look of common banding is reduced considerably because the embossed surface breaks up the white lines.
Q: What type of applicaAons use this material? A: These medias are ideal for wallpaper, murals, and special effect banners. Currently we offer 1 side printable scrim backed vinyl. Although our media has been engineered for indoor usage, some customers have used Dreamscape for short term outdoor applicaAons. The various embossed surfaces allow printers and designers the ability to create new and exciAng work. Q: Can I use the same ICC profile for each different embossing type? A: Using one profile for all dreamscape media is possible, and is being pracAced by many users with good results. However, our 12 embossing can create different looks (this is of course part of the special effect). While our white point is idenAcal for each item, the textured surface can change the overall appearance due to the way light reflects off the different surfaces. For best results, we recommend using a unique profile for each different embossing.

Q. Can you print on the ceiling? A. Our high quality material and finish, as well as our world-‐class prinAng machines allow for the use of a huge array of exciAng colours and imagery. This allows for infinite design possibiliAes. Q. Are the ceilings washable? A. Yes. They consist of an impermeable membrane, so cleaning is very easy with a soS cloth and washing up liquid. Q. Are the ceilings fire tested? A. Absolutely, to the latest standards. CerAficaAon is available on request. Q. Is condensaAon a problem? A. Not at all. The air space above the ceiling remains at the same room temperature and therefore the ceilings stays warm so condensaAon does not occur. Q. How easy is it to remove and change the design of the ceiling? A. Super easy! Our unique profile system allows for easy and quick 'up and down' installaAon. This allows for you to change the design of the ceiling whenever you want.
Q. Is it possible to fit lights, speakers, air venAlaAon etc, into the ceiling? A. 100%! Virtually any object can be fiTed into our ceilings. In fact, this is why our material is so unique, we can stretch our ceilings to cut any shape without losing the shape of the ceiling. Q. Can the ceilings be fiJed retrospecAvely? A. Certainly. Our material is popular in the conversion or renovaAon of old buildings as well as replacement of other types of ceiling that have failed over pools. Q. What kind of guarantee do you offer? A. We are so confident in the quality of our product that we offer a 100 year guarantee -‐ you will not find that with any other company! Q. How long does installaAon take? A. It depends on the job, however, we can ensure that we are faster then all the other alternaAves -‐ suspended ceilings and plastering. The locaAon does not need to be evacuated. Metallic Surfacing – Limited By Your Imagination
Metal Skin. Our metal texturing soluAons can transform a wall or cover almost any object with a real metal skin, giving it the appearance and natural properAes of metal itself. Applied by hand the metal skin enables arAsAc surface designs with a smooth or textured coat. We can lacquer or add shimmer to complex and even surfaces.

Our metal skin soluAon is inspiring new opAons for the high-‐end compleAon of upscale interiors. As a result, this process has already been applied to elegant surfaces in hotels, apartments and public buildings. The metal surfaces are enArely applied in a customised way, by trained craSsman, to fulfill the full scope of the customers requirements. The metal skin can be applied in almost all surfaces and is suitable for interior as well as exterior applicaAons.
Metallic Surfacing
The Process. It is processed either like a lacquer or like a sparkling membrane depending on the designers vision. The liquid metal compound is applied free-‐hand by our trained craSsmen using a spatula, rolling or painAng, to create an individual and bespoke surface design that ensures a sense of individuality is captured. All surfaces, including organic surfaces, can be coated without joinAng. Depending on the applicaAon a smooth or structured metal coat can be spread with various thicknesses between 0.1 & 0.5mm to give a solid metal appearance. When dry, the coaAngs are smoothly sanded
followed by brushing for a maTe finish or polishing for a glossy finish. The surface can be sealed or leS in its natural state on request. The processing can be carried out either in the factory or directly on site. Beyond the classic polishing of the metal skin, final process ing incorporates specia l techniques such as browning or processing the metal coat as an intarsia. www.flex-europa.com
