Drilling, resin insertion, and bolting is all done from the MSHA canopy operator’s basket that is mounted on a boom that lifts and swings to allow multiple installations. Basket swing allows parallel offset and manuevering around tight corners. Man-in-basket design allows maximum versatility in bolt type and length. Designed to allow access to tram compartment and drill platform from both sides of machine. This machine finally presents small stope miners with the opportunity to replace jacklegs and “get the man off of the muckpile.” Provides reduced noise exposure for operations currently using jacklegs. Heavy-duty Fletcher system assures long life, maximum reliability and productivity. Diesel tram/electric drill with inch tram capability from bolting platform, rubber tired, articulating carrier, single boom roof bolter with lifting operator platform mounted on boom, maximum operating height of 15’ (4.6 m) ®
