Fleetguard Catalog Mobile Application Training

Application Overview

The Fleetguard Catalog is a mobile application available for iOS and Android devices.

– iOS versions supported: iOS 4 and up – Android versions supported: 2.2 and up

The application allows for part cross references, part details,

and application lookup features.

It also includes customer contact information based on country and product literature links.

Application Install

The Fleetguard Catalog is available through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Android market.

The initial install will install the application only. When the application is first run, it will ask the user to download the Catalog database to the device. This will be utilized for offline use to minimize data usage.

After initial install and download of the database, the user will be able to “synch” the data to ensure the information on the device is the most current.


Installation Instructions

Click on “App Store” in your phone’s menu and type “Fleetguard” in the search field.

Select “Fleetguard Catalog”



Click on the “Install” button

The app will take a short period of time to install



Once installed click on “Open” to launch the app

The app will ask you if you want to download the database. Click “Continue”



Once the database has installed the Fleetguard Catalog app is ready to use


Home Screen

Home screen has three main links: Find Your Filter, Contact Cummins Filtration, and View Product Literature.

Also provides links to the Cummins Filtration website and related Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter pages.

Navigations

iOS: Navigation buttons are at the bottom of the application for main pages. “Back” buttons are at the top left.

Android: Navigation buttons appear when the device menu button is pressed. “Back” functionality is done using the device’s back button.

Find Your Filter

Find Your Filter screen allows users to either search by application (equipment) or by Fleetguard or other manufacturer’s part numbers.

Application Lookup Search

Application Lookup allows users to choose from a list of known vehicle types, manufacturers, models, engines, and years.

Only Vehicle Type and Vehicle Manufacturer fields are required. Once these two fields are populated, users can search at any time.

Application Lookup Search Results

The Application Results screen displays the list of equipment stored in our application lookup database.

Users can click any of the equipment listings to proceed to the part listing for that equipment.

Application Lookup Part Results

The Application Part Results screen shows a listing of the original manufacturer’s parts crossed with any available Fleetguard parts.

Users may click on a Fleetguard part to take them to the associated part details screen.

Application Lookup Criteria Review

Users may expand the Application Search criteria in the Application Part Results screen to either edit the search criteria or add it to the Favorites.

Part Number Search

The Part Number search allows users to either search by a known Fleetguard part number or by another manufacturer’s part number to find part crosses.

Users may use the * character as a wildcard.

The Search Results screen will show the results of the part number search.

Users may click on the Fleetguard part number to take them to the associated part details screen.

Cross Reference Search Results

If users search by a non-Fleetguard part number, the Search Results screen will show the original manufacturer’s part crossed with an available Fleetguard part number.

Users may click on the Fleetguard part number to take them to the associated part details page.

Part Details

The Part Details screen allows users to view part information about a specific part number.

Users may add the part to the worksheet as well as to the favorites from this screen.

Users may also click on the part image to get a zoomed view, download or email the image.

Part Details – Picture Zoom

The Picture Zoom screen allows users to see a more enlarged picture of the part if available.

Users may download the image to their image gallery or email them.

Users may tap the screen to remove the buttons and top information.

Worksheet

The Worksheet allows users to create a list of parts that they would like to work with or send to customers/internal reps.

They can update the quantities and send the list via email.

Favorites

The Favorites screen allows users to save either parts or application searches.

The parts section, when clicked, will take users to the associated part details screen.

The application section, when clicked, will take users to the part listing for that equipment.

Contact Cummins Filtration

The Contact Cummins Filtration screen allows users to see contact information based on country selection.

Users may update the country on this screen or update it in the Settings area.

The Retail Locator link will take the user to the Worldwide Retail Locator application on the Cummins Filtration website.

Product Literature

The Product Literature screen allows users to view certain product literature.

Selecting a piece of literature will redirect users to www.cumminsfiltration.com to view the selected PDF file.

The “View More Product Literature” selection takes users to the main literature page on the Cummins Filtration website.

Settings

Settings allows users to modify their language or region (for customer assistance locations) preferences.

Languages available: Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, & Spanish

It also allows users to set the synchronize functionality to automatic or manual.

The Send Your Feedback button allows users to email feedback.
