Overview

Flat panel TV (plasma TV) is highly regarded in the marketplace for its fast responsetime and high contrast. There is a demand for green systems that deliver large screendimensions and excellent picture quality. Power consumption and panel service life haveimproved to the point where they are rivaling the specifications of LCD panels. Refineddesign and strict selection of component parts will be the key to achieving both biggerscreen size and lower power consumption.

Renesas offers an extensive lineup of semiconductor devices to meet market demand forenvironmental-friendlessness (eg. low power consumption)and excellent picture qualitywith high brightness.
