THE FINAL PROPHET:

- No prophet will come after the Prophet (S.A.W)- Anyone who claims to be prophet after him will not be called a Muslim.

SEAL OF PROPHETHOOD:

- Many people have falsely claimed to be a prophet after the Prophet (S.A.W).

- The Prophet compared himself to a brick house: one brick is left and that brick which completes the house and makes it beautiful is the Prophet (S.A.W).

- Ali (R.A) : The prophet said to him, “To me you are like Harun to Musa but there is no Prophet after me.”

This means that he thought of Ali as a brother but reminded that there cannot be another Prophet like Musa and Harun were both prophets.

FALSE CLAIMS TO PROPHETHOOD:

- 30 great liars from the Ummah will claim to be a prophet.- Ahmadiyyah Qaadiyanis:

1. They were from India in the town of Qadiyan.2. The leader Mirza Gulam Ahmad claimed he was a prophet, Isa and Imam

Mahdi. 3. They were not truthful.

- The Prophet (S.A.W) informed all the people to seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave. He repeated this two or three times.

A BELIEVERS SOUL:- When a believer is about to leave the world, the angels descend with

faces bright like the sun.- They come with clothing and perfume of Paradise.- They tell the believer to come out to the forgiveness and pleasure of

Allah. - The soul leaves the body like a drop of water flows gently from the mouth

of a jug.- The angels will compete to take the soul to the heavens.- The angels will be able to smell a beautiful smell from the soul.- The soul will travel to the lowest heaven and will have permission to

enter.- The soul will arrive at the seventh heaven and Allah will order for his

name to be written in the BOOK OF THE PEOPLE OF PARADISE which is called ILLIYYIN.

- The soul will then return to the soil and the angels will come to ask the three questions.

- The believer will answer them all correctly and Allah will then give him a resting place from Jannah and clothes from Jannah. The grave will widen for him as far as his eyes can see and he will be able to feel a breeze of Jannah through a door Allah will open for him.

- A handsome man will appear in the form of his good deeds dressed in beautiful clothes and sweet perfume. He will give him the good news of whatever pleases him.

BELIEVER = MUMIN

Page 12: Five pillars of Islam...PAGE 1 Five pillars of Islam: 1. Shahadah 2. Salah 3. Sawm 4. Zakah 5. Hajj Six articles of faith: 1. Belief in Allah 2. Belief in angels 3. Belief in His books

PAGE 11

A DISBELIEVERS SOUL:- When a disbeliever is about to leave the world, angels descend with dark

faces.- They bring tight shrouds.- They tell the person to come out to the anger and rage of Allah!- The soul will leave the body like a thorny branch is ripped out from moist

wool. - The angels throw the body into the tight shrouds.- When they ascend to the skies, angels will ask who the evil soul is and will

call him horrible names.- When they arrive at the lowest heaven, they will not be given permission

to enter and the doors will not open.- They will not enter Paradise until ‘the camel passes through the eye of the

needle.’- Allah will ask for his name to be written in the BOOK OF THE EVIL DOERS

which is called SIJJIN. - His soul is then returned to the grave and the angels will ask him three

questions, and he will not be able to answer any of them.- An angel will call out for a bed of fire to be laid down for him and a door

leading to the fire.- Heat and hot wind will reach him.- The grave will become so narrow that this ribs will interlock with each

other.- An ugly man wearing horrible clothes and with a disgusting smell will

appear in the form of his bad deeds. He will tell him news that will torment him.

KAAFIR = DISBELIEVER

Page 13: Five pillars of Islam...PAGE 1 Five pillars of Islam: 1. Shahadah 2. Salah 3. Sawm 4. Zakah 5. Hajj Six articles of faith: 1. Belief in Allah 2. Belief in angels 3. Belief in His books

PAGE 12

1 THE GRAVE

The grave will welcome the believer to the grave and will tell him that he was the dearest to him and the grave will treat

him well. A door to Jannah is opened and the grave will be as wide as he can see.

When a bad person is buried, the grave will tell him of how he hates him and how the grave will treat him badly. The

grave will close onto him and crush his ribs into each other.

TIME OF WAITING IN THE GRAVE UNTIL RESURRECTION IS CALLED BARZAKH.

2 THE HORN

The horn will be blown twice. The first time it will make the skies and everything on Earth fall. The ones who Allah

protects will not lose consciousness. Everything will be destroyed – stars, sun, skies, mountains,

oceans. The second horn will be blown and everyone will regain

consciousness and will look around in confusion.

3 RESURRECTION

People will rise from their graves and split into two groups –the good and the bad. Nobody will be worried about their

families or friends, they will run away from them and will be scared for themselves.

Those with a clean heart and firm belief will be saved. The sinful will have dazed eyes and will wish they had a

second chance. The Day of Judgement will last 50,000 years long.

The sun will melt brains, the floor will be made of copper and people will sweat according to their sins. They will seem

drunk like scattered moths. There will be the shade under the throne of Allah for those

people who worshipped Him from a young age.

4 BOOK OF DEEDS

Good people will receive the book in the right hand and will want to show it off to everybody.

Bad people will receive the book in their left hand and will wish they never received it.

5 THE SCALEThose whose scale is heavy with good deeds will enter

Jannah and those whose scale is light will end up in Hell.

6 THE BRIDGEEverybody will need to cross the bridge which will be placed over the fire of Hell. The Prophet will be the first to cross it

with the good people from his Ummah.

Page 14: Five pillars of Islam...PAGE 1 Five pillars of Islam: 1. Shahadah 2. Salah 3. Sawm 4. Zakah 5. Hajj Six articles of faith: 1. Belief in Allah 2. Belief in angels 3. Belief in His books

PAGE 13

JAHANNAM (HELL)

- It is so deep that if you were to throw a stone inside, it would take 70 years to reach the bottom.

- Walls are made of fire.- Heated for 1000 years – turned red.- Heated for another 1000 years – turned white.- Heated for a further 1000 years – turned black.- Very dark.- 70 times hotter than the fire of this world.- People’s brains will boil and skin will burn.- Allah will provide a new skin once it is burnt so the pain can be felt over

and over again.- The shade will not protect anyone from the fire and it is black, smoky and

very hot.- The people will beg for food and will given a fruit from the tree of

ZAQQUM which will have thorns that will get stuck in their throats.- They will never be given a cool drink. They will receive boiling water that

will melt their faces when it’s brought close and the intestines in their stomachs will melt when its drank.

- Allah allowed Jahannam to take two breaths: one in summer and one in winter. In summer Jahannam breathes out so we experience heat. In winter Jahannam breathes in so we experience the cold weather.

- In Jahannam people will be tied up with iron chains and dragged along the fire.

- The people will be beaten with iron rods that are so heavy, even if every person and Jinn tried to lift it, they wouldn’t be able to.

the fire at times. 2. He will finally pass beyond the fire and thank Allah for saving him from the

fire and blessing him.3. A tree will be raised for him and water will be given to him three times –

more beautiful than the one before.4. He will finally arrive at the gate of Jannah and Allah will grant him the

smallest place in Jannah which is 10 TIMES THE SIZE OF THE WORLD.

PARADISE:- Jannah is for the righteous servants.- It is like no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of and no mind has

ever imagined. - The shade in Jannah will be so long and wide.- Water will always be flowing and will never dry up.- Fruits will hang low so people can pick them whilst sitting, standing and

even lying down.- There is a tree in Paradise which is so big that a rider will not be able to

cross it even if he travels in the shade for 100 YEARS.- There will be four rivers:1. Water2. Milk3. Honey4. Wine- People will eat and drink but wont need to spit, go to the toilet or clear

their throat.- Sweat will smell of pure musk and will digest their food.- Everyone will be young and healthy.- People will be hairless and beardless.- Eyes will be beautified with KUHL – Eyeliner. - Everyone will be 30 or 33 years old.- A caller will announce with a Du’a: “May you always be healthy and never

sick again. May you live forever and never die. May you stay young and never become old. May you stay happy and never feel sad again.”

PAGE 16

HE WAS BLESSED WITH:1. Wealth2. Animals3. Many sons4. Land 5. Servants

HOW WAS HE TESTED?- When he became old, Allah took away these blessings to see what Ayyub

(A.S) would do.

WHAT DID PROPHET AYYUB DO?- He constantly remembered Allah and stayed patient. His wife looked after

him as he was old and weak and ill.

HOW LONG DID IT LAST? – a few years.

WHAT DID ALLAH DO?- Allah rewarded Ayyub (A.S) with more than what he already had before. All

the blessings were returned to him with even more!

HOW WAS HIS HEALTH RETURNED?- Allah inspired Prophet Ayyub to make Du’a.- He then ordered him to stamp the ground with his feet and two springs

began to flow. When Ayyub bathed in them, with one spring his external illnesses were cured and with the other spring, all the internal illnesses were cured.

- He was so handsome and energetic that his wife barely recognised him!- When he was bathing, golden locusts began to fall and he gathered them in

his clothes and he wanted as many of Allah’s blessings as he could get.

AYYUB’S PROMISE:- Wanted to discipline his wife as she returned home very late one today.

Took a promise with Allah’s name.- It had to be fulfilled so Allah helped him and told him to take light straws

and tap his wife with them so she wouldn’t be hurt at all.

THE STORY OF AYYUB IS…“A reminder for all worshippers.”

LESSONS:

1. When we face a difficulty, don’t forget Allah. Stay patient and ask Him for help.

2. All people will be tested in their lives but these tests and troubles wipe away sins and increase our reward in the Herafter.

3. As Muslims, we should never hurt anybody, especially women. Always be good to your family.

Miss out a Fardh act = Wudhu invalid.

Miss out a Sunnah act = much more reward!

Do a Makruh act = you will lose the full reward of Wudhu and wudhu will still be valid.

- He was sent to Nineveh, a city in Iraq.- His job was to teach the people about worshipping Allah alone, otherwise a

punishment would come to them.- The people did not listen and they continued in their ways.- Prophet Yunus became angry and he left the town without the permission

of Allah.- He should have waited for the command of Allah.- Yunus (A.S) found a ship of sailors and decided to travel with them. The

journey started smooth and then turned rough. A storm came and the ship started to move side to side.

- The crew thought a bad person had boarded the ship and would need to jump off. They decided to draw lots to decide.

- They pulled out names 3 times and every time it was that of Yunus.- They didn’t want to throw him into the fierce sea but they had to and Yunus

also realised that this was with Allah’s will.- He jumped into the water and disappeared into the waves.- A whale appeared and swallowed him with one big gulp, closed its mouth

shutting out all the light and leaving total darkness behind.- Yunus thought about what he had done and realised his big mistake. He

made Du’a to Allah by saying:“There is no God but You, You are free from blame, Indeed I was wrong and among those who did wrong.”- Meanwhile, in Nineveh the people repented and realised that they should

only worship Allah. They asked Allah to forgive them and that Allah sends Yunus back so he can continue to teach them.

- After a FEW DAYS, Allah was pleased with Prophet Yunus so He made the whale take out Yunus onto the seashore.

- Allah made a tree grow within moments so that Yunus could take shade from the burning sun and He provided him with fruits so he could regain his energy.

- Yunus returned to his people and they all thanked Allah for being so Merciful.

LESSONS FROM THE STORY:

1. Allah prefers to forgive His people, not punish them.

2. Nothing is impossible for Allah, not even making a whale swallow a man and bring him back out after days.

3. We should always turn to Allah when we are in difficulty.

4. The Du’a made by Yunus (A.S) in the whale of the belly is a Du’a we can make in any difficulty.

5. Yunus (A.S) thought about his actions and knew it was because of his own actions. We should never blame Allah.
