Five Historic Tribes Map
Five Historic Tribes Of Utah…
Utah has five historic tribes that lived all over Utah.
Remember, historic means these groups had some form
of written history.
Five Historic Tribes Map
The map we are going to create in class shows the general regions these people lived.
Starting a MAPFirst, give your map a title. Every good map has a title which indicates the subject matter the map is showing. You should label your map with the following title:
FIVE HISTORIC TRIBES This title tells the viewer what type of information the map is going to be showing.
Starting a MAPAfter giving the map an appropriate title, you need to create a space for a clearly labeled LEGEND. (Remember, a legend is the key to the map which shows you what the colors and symbols on the map represent. )
Five Historic Tribes LEGENDA legend is the key to the
map. Put all colors and symbols in here.
Choose a color you want to use to represent the first tribe PAIUTE. Make a space for it in your legend.
To outline the PAIUTE region, FIRST find the middle of the Southern border of the state and make a dot or a line.
