Let’s Practice…The Three Little Pigs

• Once there were three pigs. They wanted to live on their own so each pig decided to build a house. The first little pig built his house out of straw. The second little pig built his house out of sticks. The third little pig built a strong house out of bricks.

• One day, soon after the houses were built, a wolf came.

• He first came to the first little pigs house and said, “Little pig, little pig let me in!”

• The first little pig replied “Not by the hair on my chiney, chin, chin.”

• The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the house in. The first little pig ran to the home of the second little pig.

• A few moments later, along came the wolf. • The wolf came to the door and said, “Little

pigs, little pigs let me in!”• The little pigs replied, “Not by the hair on our

chiney, chin, chins.”• So the wolf huffed and puffed and blew their

house in. The first and second little pig ran to the home of their brother the third little pig.

• A little while later along came the wolf. • He knocked on the door and said, “Little pigs,

little pigs let me in!”• The pigs replied, “Not by the hair on our

chiney, chin, chins.”• The wolf huffed and puffed, but no matter

how hard he tried he could not blow the house in.

• The third little pig was very smart and he built a strong house out of bricks. This protected them from the wolf. THE END.

Five Finger Summary The Three Little Pigs

The three little pigs wanted to build their own houses, but a wolf kept blowing them down one at a time. So, each piggy escaped to his brother’s house for safety. In the end, all three pigs were safe in the last pig’s brick house.
