Fish, Fisheries & Aquatic Biodiversity Worldwide (FFAB) incorporates and augments previous NISC resources Fish and Fisheries Worldwide (FFW) and Aquatic Biology, Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources (ABAFR), and is an aggregation of 19 bibliographic databases from around the world. FFAB’s content focuses on the living resources found in bodies of water, offering comprehensive international coverage for researchers specializing in ichthyology, fisheries, aquaculture, and aquatic and marine biology. Dating back to 1971 (and earlier), this database collection contains 1.5 million records. Prominent themes covered in FFAB include: FFAB offers detailed keyword indexing, abstracts and direct links to full text, author contact information, links to publishers’ websites and information on holding libraries. The records and abstracts are derived from all publications, including journal articles, research reports, conference proceedings, grey literature, books, monographs, theses and dissertations.
