The number of trout stocked will be reduced in 2019 for some lakes and in some cases fish size will be smaller than normal due to the Cold Lake Fish Hatchery (CLFH) being at full capacity. Once the CLFH empties the facility this spring from stocking, Rainbow Trout eggs will be brought in to allow for some lakes that are known to overwinter to be stocked this fall. The Province will return to full stocking requests/sizes in spring of 2020 as the new water treatment system at SLFH will be in operation this fall. Fish Stocking Report 2019 October 21, 2019

Notes The Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery is undergoing a major renovation on its water treatment process system.
