Now That’s A Bright IdeaNew officers were elected at the January meeting. No one wanted my job. Oh well. Yours truly was elected chair, Bill Gourley, vice-chair, Donnie Norton, secretary, and Sandra Trepanier, treasure. Budget for 2020 was approved. We will be holding off on any projects until our big project is completed.

Smoke detectors have been installed where needed. Thanks Donnie. There have been discussions on new stools for the kitchen. One gave way under too much weight (mine, nothing hurt but my ego). If you have any ideas, see Joan or Penny.

The Ad Council is having Scott investigate a camera and other accessories to improve our streaming of the Sunday service. We will know more by next month.

Other than a broken lens for the light fixture in the women’s bathroom upstairs, everything seems to be working and in good shape.

As always if you see something that needs attention, contact Donnie, Pastor Scott or myself and we’ll do our best to “get ‘r’ done” or at least put it on the list! Merry Christmas and.

Bill Westervelt, Chair

From the Stewardship Committee

Thanks again,

Joyce Barry

Thrift Shop NewsOur Thrift Shop not only benefits members of the community with reasonably-priced items. Did you know that the Thrift Shop gives our church $2,500 each month, and another $500 to the Clergy Association? The committee has also just approved giving $100 a month to the Ticonderoga school system to help fund school lunches for a student(s) who needs it.

Do you want to get out of the house for a few hours this winter? We can always find something for you to do on sorting days (Monday and Thursday, 9-noon); or selling

days (Wednesday and Saturday 9-2). You don’t have to work the cash register – we also need someone to wrap and bag the purchases on open days. Our volunteers are a lively and fun group – come and join us!
