God - the Ignatian Examen.

Ignatian Examen is a way of praying that St. Ignatius of Loyola developed to help people

be aware of their encounter with God in their daily experiences.

It includes: silence as a beginning to prayer,

reviewing or going back to what happened during the day, and being grateful to God to

become a better person.

Sit down properly and comfortably. Be aware of your breathing. Breath in. Breath

out. Close your eyes. Be silent.

Silent Individual Reflection

1.What part of the day do you think is the best one? The happiest one? The saddest one?

2.Why do you feel that way about that particular event?

3.What do you think is God telling you when you felt that way When you were happy? When you were sad?

4. How would you show gratitude to God for these gifts of experiences with Him?
