Dear Family of Faith, Not a day goes by that we do not think of you and thank God for the body of Christ at First Presbyterian Church on Main Street. Four months ago today, we had a devastating house fire that began a new chapter in our lives. During those first four weeks of this journey, your outpouring of love, prayers, and support, both materially and spiritually, helped us through very dark times. You became the very hands of Christ reaching out to us in need. We know without a doubt that God is carrying us through this trial and has provided for all our needs. We are ever grateful for your support. At this time, we do not know when we will return to our home, mostly likely at least three to four more months. With the close of this my last semester at Thiel College, I will begin work full time in helping to restore our home. We know that according to Romans 8:28 "All things work together for good to those who love God." Please know you are loved and appreciated and that our hearts overflow with thanks-giving for you all. Sincerely, Michael and Becky Bray

Thank You!

Dear Friends, Thank you just does not seem like enough to say, for everything that you all did for me and for my mom during her illness and death, but that’s all I can say. Thank you for the many, many prayers for her and for us, thank you for the food, cards, visits, coming to calling hours and funeral, and most of all thank you for the love and concern for all of us during our grief. When you look up the words “compassionate’ and “caring” there must be pic-tures of all of you! You are truly our church “family”. Thank you again and blessings to all of you! Love, Jennifer and John Forbes and family

FPC Members Give Very Generously to the Easter Share Offering in 2017 On Palm Sunday (April 9) the children, youth, and congrega-tion gave $910 to the Easter Share Offering, which will help the emergency field hospital near Mosul in Iraq and refugees from Syria and Iraq. On Easter Day $360 was given and on April 23 (tentatively) $.815.27 was given. Thank you all for giving very generously to help people who have lost loved ones, homes, and property, and who have fled their home-towns, which are now in war zones. The total amount given is (tentatively) $2,085.27.

Dear Class, How thankful I am to have been a guest at your Passover Meal. It was a wonderful learning experience for me. From the beautiful purpose-ful decorations and delicious food with the significance thereof, the research and history, the many minute details such as the informa-tive brochure. (I do believe I’m the only one at our table to consume the rocks and bricks). The best part of the whole meal to me was the low key presentation by all who served us with love, no matter how small or young, how old or tired they did a wonderful job, especially my little dolls whom I love. Again know how grateful I am to all of you, particularly Mary Kay and Dave Miller, Josh Lentz and Ben Glass-man for sharing their knowledge of the symbolism’s. Thank you. Yours in Christ, Gert Warren P.S. I give this dinor 10 gold stars. This FISH class thanks the person or group responsible for

placing the Chancel flowers in their honor for the Passover Meal. Your kindness is appreciated.

THANK YOU FROM WORLD VISION CHILD Beloved the children of the Lord. I am so excited to write to you. Thank you for the letters you wrote. I am so happy to hear that you sponsor me. I am now doing grade 5. In our family we are 2 girls. My sister Brenda is 8. We go to church with our parents on Sunday. My mom is Joyce and my father Sherpherd. Greet all whom you share with Jesus Christ. The word of our Lord and Savior. You are in our prayers. Let your love continue to flow like the waters of the sea. In God’s Love, Emmah

939 Prayer Partners

During our Senior’s honor breakfast, one of our seniors had a gift and card sitting in front of her. The senior proudly

shared that her 939 Prayer Partners remembered her during this important event. Praying and displaying an interest in our

youth is the goal for our 939 Prayer Program. The number 939 represents the number of Sundays from birth to the age of

18. The Christian Education/Youth Committee would like to expand this program. If you do not have a prayer partner or

would like to add an additional prayer partner please see Dan Baker, Sharon Nystrom, or Mary K. Miller.
