After facebook, whatsapp and other social mobile application, its time for schools to have a mobile app, which can connect to the students & parents and also provide instant notifications about each and every information about happenings at school. myMschool (http://www.myMschool.com) is India’s first such mobile app for schools which is customized with the logo and color theme of the school. This mobile app can be downloaded from school’s website with authentication. Once the app is installed on the mobile phone, student/parent starts getting notifications like student attendance, homework, results, circulars, calendar, fee dues, library transactions, daily remarks, etc. The best part of myMschool is that, it frees schools from mobile sms gateways which most of the times get choked or barred in case of emergency. Another interesting feature of the myMschool is that the information till the last update can be viewed even if there is no internet connectivity on the mobile. Last but not the least, the app also have the feature of ‘Location’ which shows the user the route map from his current location to the school. There are many other feature adding up in the near future in myMschool which shall be informative and useful for both schools and students, comments Mr. Ashish Jain, Director – Sales & Marketing. The solution is currently offered to Delhi Public Schools and available to other schools on per student per year basis.
