For OUR CHURCH’S Old Settlers float, we are in need of a few women, dressed in pioneer dress to ride the float. (We have a few dresses avail-able) We will need a few children to also ride the float in pioneer dress ( we have a few long dresses; boys wear jeans/shirt/suspenders, op-tional, cap/hat) We need five strong men– all dressed in old jeans, shirt, suspenders and hat. Also will need an old hand saw. If you have any of these items and would volunteer to ride on the float, PLEASE Call the church office by April 5, so we may have a float in the Old Settlers Parade. We want to join the other churches in reminding the crowd how important religion was in the days of the first settlers. The Old Settlers Parade begins at 10:00 on Saturday, April 22. If you would like to help build the float, please let the office know your cell number so we can text those who are willing to come and work in the bus barn on the trailer, during the next two weeks. We also are needing a older green or white pickup to pull the float.

Did you know that research shows something that every pas-

tor has been telling you your entire life? It is true, it is bibli-

cal and it is exciting. Here is the awesome news. People are

much more likely to attend church if they are invited to do so

by a friend or relative. Wow! That is earth shattering

news. Did you know that most people, almost all of them, started attend-

ing church and Sunday School because someone brought them or invited

them? This is not rocket surgery people! We are calling April Five Fabu-

lous Sunday Schools. We have some great special Sundays, including

Easter, that will be a blessing. Not only will you be blessed, but you will be

challenged and inspired. Why not share that blessing with some-

one? Why not invite someone to Sunday School and church? We are em-

phasizing attending Sunday School in April. It is a good time to get start-

ed. If you are not attending, we have a place for you. If you are attending,

invite someone to join you. You can invite someone that is not even in

your class. Nothing of our plans for April will mean much if we aren’t will-

ing to pray, attend and INVITE. That is a pretty good description of the

early church. Let’s make that a description of First Baptist Cheyenne this

April and beyond.
