Company Profile

Båtservice Contracting AS (BC) is a company in the Båtservice Group which was founded in 1948. BC was registered as a separate company in 1987 and

has the subsidiary Båtservice ITC AS (ITC).

We are a supplier to the oil & gas, marine and process industries. The main activity is manpower supply, both skilled workers and engineers, but we also have projects

with total responsibility for fabrication, installation and commissioning. Management of BC and ITC are aligned , where BC will take care of mechanical disciplines and ITC electrical disciplines and engineering.

Our head office is located at Gismerøya in Mandal. Båtservice Group has a new modern workshop at Gismerøya, with a deep-water harbor right outside the door. BC and ITC also have offices in

Egersund and Stord. Our yard in Stord is approved as an enterprise of competence and specializes in weighing, force measurement and instrumentation. Our workshop has a calibration lab for certification of load pins and

dynamo meters, electro and machine workshop.

BC has provided engineering services to the industry for more than 20 years and has now introduced

this as a separate business area under ITC.

We provide services to the Oil & Gas industry, maritime and process industry, and offer personnel with

competence based on our customers requirements, from draftsmen to senior engineers with special expertise.

Our staff is closely integrated to our customers projects. We also recruit personnel from other parts of

the world, with relevant experience, and preferably references from previous projects in Norway.

We have provided services to the on and offshore industry for 25 years, and the company management

Enterprise of Competence Products

We tailor-make load pins, dynamometers and shackle bolts based on our customer’s specs. Standard material is UGIM 165M, but other materials are available upon request.

We recommend an external amplifiers, but can also supply pins with internal amplifier cards.

The instruments/amplifiers come with cables or wireless signal, and can be equipped with logging functions for reading of misc. parameters over a period of time

Our products are also available in EX/ATEX version.
