Antifa, White Nationalists and Domestic Terrorism
This one-day training will provide North Carolina First Responders with an introductory overview of numerous domestic terror groups and criminally subversive subcultures which are encountered by law enforcement professionals on a daily basis. Domestic extremist movements covered will include white supremacists, white nationalists, black identity extremists, animal rights and eco-terrorists, anti-government and more.
Attendees will be educated on the 1st Amendment and the Constitutional protections it affords to all groups discussed. Further, attendees will be trained to identify violent extremism and discern between criminal activity and First Amendment protected speech and actions, recognize and understand the numerous criminal subcultures and extremist groups living and operating in their jurisdiction, understand and predict the dynamics of encounters with the various criminal subcultures presented, complete safe, competent and thorough investiga-tions involving various criminal subversive groups and define, explain, and train fellow officers on the tactics of various criminal subcultures and domestic extremist groups present in their jurisdictions.
Instructor Bio:
Rob Finch is a NC Detective with over 10 years experience working in a large criminal intelli-gence unit. Responsibilities include monitoring, documenting and prosecuting subversive criminal organizations and domestic terrorism subjects that include sovereign citizens/anti-government extremists, outlaw motorcycle gangs, anarchists, white supremacists, black identity extremists and animal/earth extrem-ists. Finch has worked numerous criminal cases on the state and federal levels that have resulted in successful prosecutions of these groups.

Specialized Training Course Title: Tactical Mantracking Level 2 Course Date: March 11-15, 2019 (50 hrs) Course Time: 8a-until & varies
This course is designed to enhance the tracking skills, tactics and operational procedures of those officers that have completed the Level 1 program. Mantracking day & night in urban settings through city streets and alleys, yards, parking lots and sidewalks, as well as learning how to use concealment and stealth to track up to and conduct surveillance on subjects, and learn to detect and avoid IED’s, and booby traps that may be placed along the way to harm them. Learn anti and counter tracking techniques and how to recognize them when used by fugitives or illicit drug manufactures to mask their tracks or conceal their operations. Course Title: Being Prepared For The Day: Surviving an Officer Involved Encounter Course Dates: April 17-18, 2019 (16 hrs) Course Time: 8a-5p Daily

Undue anxiety can develop within both personal and professional relationships and effect job performance and home life. Being Prepared For The Day offers an in-depth analysis of what occurs during and after an officer-involved shooting along with information to better prepare you before the incident can happen.

Course Title: Basic SWAT Operator
Course Dates: February 25-March 1, 2019 (50 hrs)
Course Time: 8a-5p Daily (times vary)
This course will be physically and mentally demanding. Areas that will be covered include overview of SWAT physical fitness, tactical dynamic and static room clearing, SCAT with and without weapons, tactical firearms (handgun, rifles, shotguns, submachine gun), ballistic shields, down man rescue, entry drills, dry/live fire vehicle takedowns, legal issues for SWAT operator, SWAT callouts during night operations, dry/live fire evolutions and several more intense blocks of instruction.

Specialized Training Course Title: Hostage/Crisis Negotiations for the First Responder Course Dates: April 25, 2019 (8 hrs) Course Time: 8a-5p This course is designed for the first arriving officers to a possible hostage situation or other serious cri-sis in which negotiations are needed prior to the arrival of trained Negotiators.
