Step 2: In the Applications tab, scroll down until you find “Portable Document Format (PDF)” in the left column or use the search engine. Then use the dropdown option next to “Portable Document Format (PDF)” to change your setting from “Preview in Firefox” to “Use Adobe Reader” or “Use Adobe Acrobat Pro”. After changing to either Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat close the menu. PLEASE NOTE, making this change will now open all PDFs in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat instead of the Firefox browser. If you prefer, not to have all PDFs open in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat, then don’t select anything and exit the menu. In the right corner click on “Open With Different Viewer”, then open the document in either Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. This will allow you to keep the setting where PDFs open in the Firefox browser instead of opening in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. If you do not change your settings, you will have to do this step (“open with different viewer) each time you try to open a fillable PDF.

Step 3: Close out of Firefox and reopen the browser so the setting change can take effect. Now when you try to open one of the fillable PDFs (i.e. Application for Claim of Exemption, Continuing Review, and Final Report) it will now open. Sample below of Application for Claim of Exemption.
