Fire Safety
Analyze the Learner• Second Grade Students• Total of Eighteen Students• Twelve are White; Six are African American• 10 boys and 8 girls• No learning disabilities• Hands On and Visual learners
Main ObjectiveSecond grade students will recite at least four fire safety rules.
Students will do so by learning to recognize warning sounds and signs of a fire by listening to a fire alarm and watching a video
on fire safety signs. Students will learn how to report an emergency by listening to a song and watching a demonstration
of an Art Bot. Students will learn the Stop, Drop, and Roll procedure by watching a Youtube video. Students will learn the
escape plan for a fire drill by making a poster. Students will acquire at least 1-2 important duties of a firefighter by talking with firefighters using Zello. Second grade students will have a
five day time frame. All eighteen second grade students will participate, and it will be a one hundred percent degree of
accuracy.
