As Rockdoors are made from scratchhere in the UK, it allows us to put SteelSecurity Mesh within the door itself whererequired, making it 4 times stronger andimpossible to cut through with a knife.

Laminated GlassIt’s very rare for door glass to be smasheddue to the noise this would create drawingattention to the intruder. Whilst all our glassis toughened as standard, we do offercustomers who feel particularlyvulnerable the option to upgrade tolaminated glass, often in accordance withSecured by Design (mentioned below).Laminated glass is two pieces of glass with aplastic inner film like a car windscreen.

Secured by DesignSecured by Design is a Police backedinitiative that is designed to prevent the riskand fear of crime. It does this by setting outstandards that doors manufacturers shouldachieve. To ensure your door is both PAS24and Secured by Design, please speak to yourinstaller before ordering.

Rockdoors are designed to be strong and secure, butsometimes where a door is installed in an isolated locationwhere the door could be subjected to a prolonged attack,extra security might be required to provide additionalstrength to your door.

We have a standard specification but these canbe altered to suit customer requirements and certificationdepending on the project.

For doorsets to be compliant to certification, they mustinclude the correct seals. Our Intumescent flipper seal fullycomplies with this. The 15x4mm Fire and Smoke Seal isroutered out to the frame and fitted before delivery.Leaving you with peace of mind!
