Our assignment: Develop a summative statement and recommendations that describe a contemporary vision of quality credentials, quality providers of credentials, and a next-generation quality assurance system. We met over the course of a year: Appointed in fall 2018, the Quality Credentials Task Force met three times for • Discussion of principal issues and prior work on quality and equity to build upon • Advice on policy priorities • Development of the draft leading to Unlocking the Nation’s Potential
