Finding Bombs in all the Wrong PlacesBy Dr. Ridgely Abdul Mu’min Muhammad

It has been over 2 and one-half months since the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan invited members of the 9/11 Truth Movement to present their scientific analysis of what happened on September 11, 2001. Architect Richard Gage, of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, and chemist Kevin Ryan, co-editor of the peer-reviewed Journal of 9/11 Studies, presented to a packed auditorium indisputable evidence that the three buildings that fell at the World Trade Center on 9/11 were brought down by strategically placed bombs and not by hijacked airliners. Yet what is being pro-moted in the mainstream media as newsworthy are not the bombs that brought down the three World Trade Center buildings, but the Guantanamo trials of sus-pects who are alleged to have planned the hijacking of the planes, as well as a recently foiled “underwear bomber” attack.

In the meantime political hucksters like Glenn Beck just aired a so-called ex-posé of the Nation of Islam, trying to link it to as many bad things that he could think up—without present-ing one single shred of evidence. Beck even called Minister Farrakhan a 9/11 “truther.” Since when did the title “truther”—which I assume means either one who is telling the truth or one who is looking for the truth—become a pejorative term? Well, I guess that Mr. Beck could not call the Minister a “liar” or a “terrorist,” so calling him a “truther” was as tough as he could get. Representative Peter King held hearings trying to link the Nation of Islam to the “radicalization of black prisoners” and the recruitment

of Black males to become part of a “violent” organi-zation. But everybody knows that members of the Nation of Islam are not allowed to carry or use carnal weapons or to be the aggressor in word or deed.

The obvious goal of all this negative talk about The Minister is to dissuade the public from listening to what he is saying and prepare the public to accept the demise of Minister Farrakhan, President Barack Obama and the Nation of Islam at the hands of the nefarious forces that control America. In his Febru-ary Saviours’ Day message the Minister pointed out that when Oklahoma City was bombed in 1995, the

first thing they said on the news was that it was perpetrated by the Nation of Islam. This false charge set the stage for 9/11 to take place, which resulted in an attack on Islam, all Muslims, and on Ameri-can and foreign charities whose mission was to aid Islamic development. Since 9/11, America has used its “War on Terror” to send military forces

to kill innocent people in seven Muslim countries: Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, Libya, Somalia and Lebanon. Ironically, many of the people killed in

these countries were killed by unmanned remotely controlled aircrafts called

drones. Could the planes that struck the World Trade Center and the Pentagon have been piloted by remote control?

So now these same people claim to have thwarted an “Al-Qaeda plot” to blow up a plane with a suicide bomber coming from Yemen donning explosive un-

derwear; however, the www.bbc.co.uk article “Al-Qaeda underwear bomber ‘was undercover agent’” reported that the “bomber” was really a Saudi agent working in conjunction with America’s CIA. So here we have an admitted conspiracy by the CIA and Saudi intelligence claiming to have infiltrated an organization and “ex-posed” a terrorist plot. But whose plot was it? Is this a repeat of the 1960s, when the FBI under the COIN-TELPRO program would infiltrate Black organizations as agent provocateurs, entice them to do some illegal activity, then turn them in?

But let’s go back to 2009 and the infamous Nigerian “underwear bomber” on Flight 253, which landed in Detroit on Christmas day. There are varying “official” versions of the event, each of which has not been properly investigated. Indeed, there is one big puzzle presented by a passen-ger by the name of Kurt Haskell who witnessed a well-dressed older man intercede on behalf of the young Ni-gerian, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, at the check-in gate in Amsterdam, Holland. Haskell, a lawyer, heard the man tell the airline agent in an Amer-ican accent that Umar was a refugee from Africa and that he wanted him on the plane even though Umar did not have a visa. Remarkably, the man said, “We do this all the time.” And the pair was sent to airport higher ups down the corridor to get permission. Who was this man who could intercede on behalf of a foreigner at U.S. Customs? Mr. Haskell gave interviews recounting this story, while U.S. government officials vehemently denied that Mr. Umar had an accom-plice. These government of-ficials never publicly showed any security camera video of Umar at the check-in gate at the Amsterdam airport.

Minister Farrakhan gave us the meaning of a patsy: patsy means “dupe” or “scapegoat.” And this is what Umar was in this incident—a patsy for the United States government.

So if Umar was a patsy and the World Trade Center buildings 1, 2 and 7 were brought down by strategi-cally placed explosives, then the so-called hijackers and

those that are alleged to have planned the hijackings were “patsies” of a bigger scheme. Is the American public more interested in some “underwear bomb” than in the tons of high explosives used to kill nearly 3,000 people and plunge America into an unending war on Islam? Or is the American media more inter-ested in diverting attention from the real questions and the evidence that provides answers to these questions?

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth has not been given the attention that well-educated scientists should be given over such an important issue; however, they

are taking their information to the public. They have produced a power-ful new documentary called “9/11: Explosive Evidence — Experts Speak Out,” and are now scheduling a World Premiere Tour from the west coast to the east coast. It will begin in Bev-erly Hills, CA, on May 22 and hit at least 25 cities, proceeding through the month of June. The film features cutting-edge 9/11 evidence presented by 50 experts in their fields, such as high-rise architects, structural engi-neers, physicists, chemical engineers, firefighters, metallurgists, explosives

experts, controlled-demolition technicians, and more. The documentary will be submitted to film festivals around the world.

In February at the Nation of Islam Saviours’ Day, Mr. Gage flatly asserted and then proved that the

smallest of the three World Trade Center buildings, WTC 7, was not brought down by a plane or a fire or debris from the other buildings. Thanks to the highly controlled media, most of the American public does not even know

that a third building, the 47-story WTC 7, went down at 5:21 PM right after WTC 1 and 2 fell—each of the three buildings falling into its own footprint. In fact, it was the U.S. government’s own report put out by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technol-ogy) that prompted Mr. Gage, an architect by trade, to get involved with finding a more plausible explanation for the collapse of those three buildings on September 11th.

The NIST report blamed the collapse of all three buildings on fire; however, Mr. Gage pointed out that never in the history of steel-framed buildings has a skyscraper had a “complete collapse” due to fire—NEVER. How, then, do you have three major skyscrap-ers falling due to fire and leaving in their wake finely pulverized concrete and distorted pieces of steel full of gaping holes? Mr. Gage went on to present side-by-side videos of the collapse of WTC 7 and buildings destroyed by demolition experts using strategically placed explosives. He ran these videos over and over again to emphasize that what happened in a controlled demolition looked exactly like what happened to all three World Trade Center buildings. So the question of who did or did not fly the planes into buildings 1 and 2 becomes IRRELEVANT to the issues concerning the crime that was committed that day.

How could the American government flatly deny and refuse to investigate the possibility of bombs being in those buildings and yet now seem so interested in “underwear bombs” coming out of Yemen? Recently, in an article posted at Liberty News On-line, you condemned the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan for his successful tour of Black southern colleges, a tour that was enthusiastically cheered by the nation’s future leaders and lauded by the local and state political, educational and religious leaders.

Notwithstanding such universal praise, you leveled several unfounded allegations against The Minister, accusing him of that age-old canard of being anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, and anti-American. Not one ounce of evidence was offered to prove any of your charges.

You also went on a rant against what you call Islamic sharia law, a topic that is usually reserved for experts to address. Your harangue was a means for you to appeal to your audience for money. You thereby used The Minister and Islam as a means to fill your organization’s coffers.

Why should Minister Farrakhan be considered anti-American when he points out the ills that plague this nation, particularly when those very same ills have also been addressed by America’s religious leaders,

pundits, educators, business leaders, as well as politi-cians and social activists?

America, unlike many other nations, allows for the free flow of ideas to be expressed in the public square. Is your objection to the Minister’s expression of his re-ligious thoughts based on a sense of envy and jealousy because of the Minister’s skill to eloquently integrate and distill such ideas and articulate them in a manner unequalled by other oratorical giants? Is there a con-cern about his ability to attract and inspire thousands, who as a result study his masterly unique approach to Judeo-Christian and Islamic theology?

As a Christian theocrat you believe in a Christian theocratic dictatorship. As you know, a Christian theocratic dictatorship is an anomaly in a pluralistic society. America, as she is pres-ently constituted, is not de-signed to be dominated by any one religion. That’s why in some jurisdictions Christians and non-Christians object to open displays of Christmas trees, menorahs and Easter bunnies in government institutions and on public property.

If we do a cursory study of the great nations and empires that have existed over the last 6,000 years, we will discover, from a religious per-spective, a methodology that God uses that is quite consistent. He sends warners, or prophets, to correct the aberrant, sinful behavior of that nation. He offers that nation an opportunity to change, to modify the destructive course it has chosen. God’s warners offer that nation an opportunity to choose an alternate path. Such was the case with ancient Egypt, Sodom and Go-morrah, Israel, Judah, Greece, the Roman Empire, and the Muslim empires of the Abbasids, the Umayyads and the Fatimids. The arrogance of the leadership and the control they exercised over the masses led to their downfall and destruction. One of the greatest empires in the last 6,000-year history is the American Empire; indeed, America encompasses all of the good and bad characteristics of the nations mentioned.

Though all of the aforementioned nations were great, all were not good. The spiritual laxity inherent in each led to their demise. If God’s methodology is consistent, then why would it not apply to America? If God

would send Moses and Aaron to warn the Egyptians, and if He would send Micah, and Jeremiah, and Daniel to warn Israel and Judah, and if He would send Jesus to warn the Jews and the Romans, and if He would send Hud and Salih, great Quranic prophets, then could we not charge Him with being woefully inconsistent if He did not send a warner to the most violent and racist nation in all of history.

I know among some conservatives such a charac-terization of America is considered unpatriotic and foreboding, but to ignore her historical record would be foolhardy. On the other hand, some would argue that America has been a source of good and benevo-lence for the world—though, others would argue, only to the extent to which such seemingly altruistic action

has served her own purposes and interests.

No nation on Earth is as violent, commits more mur-ders, consumes more drugs, has a higher abortion rate, has a higher institutional racism rate, commits more national voter suppression, and has a greater concentration of wealth in the pocketbook of the wealthy at the expense of the poor than America does. Moreover, we

incarcerate a higher percentage of our poor and un-derclass than any other nation on Earth. Our two-tier criminal justice system—one for Whites and another for Blacks—has devolved into a new form of apartheid, a new Jim Crow system, a system that incarcerates over one million Black men.

If all the above is true, and it is, then the question becomes, who will God send, and what will he or she say, and how will he/she be received by those who are being warned? You may not agree with me that Far-rakhan fits such a mold. But surely we agree that there is no one on the contemporary scene who has con-sistently warned this nation of her shortcomings and transgressions and her ungodly, racist behavior—for over half a century—as Farrakhan has.

As we study history we find that God’s methodology has been to reach into the ranks of the slave class, the downtrodden, the dispossessed, take the most vulner-able in a society, elevate them as His representatives

The Nation of Islam, under the leadership of Minister

warn the people—both the slave and the oppressor—of their pending doom. J. Edgar Hoover understood this. That’s why he scanned the American horizon look-ing for a “messiah” to emerge from the bowels of the American ghetto. This is a consistent theme in both the Bible and the Qur’an. Farrakhan and his teacher, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, parallel that theme perfectly.

So to disparage The Minister for his admonish-ment of America for her sins is to express a profound ignorance of how God has dealt with all nations that have fallen short of His glory. One of the principal concerns of the New Testament, and one of Jesus’ main concerns, was the elevation of the status of the poor. Minister Farrakhan, his teacher The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and the Nation of Islam (N.O.I.) have focused on that theme as the hallmark of the Mission of the N.O.I. The results of that work have been recognized by religious leaders of all persuasions, governmental leaders, and foreign leaders as well.

The Nation of Islam, under the leadership of Minister Farra-khan, has done more to address the ills that plague our community than any combination of human and social service agencies that I am aware of. The major presi-dential candidates, the government, the private sector, for the most part, have abandoned the poor.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is focus-ing on that aspect of the mission of Jesus that has been abandoned by all the major sectors of this society—and for that, people like you are criticizing him. By the way, according to the Book of Luke (chapter 4), didn’t Jesus come to free the prisoners? Minister Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam have been at the forefront of prison reform for the last eight decades. What else does he have to do—walk on water? He is not using his fame and notoriety to enrich himself or for purposes of self-aggrandizement. He is not using the American flag and hiding behind “patriotic” slogans to hide a desire to fundraise for self-serving causes. I am afraid the same cannot be said of others in your sphere of influence.

In reference to your comments concerning banning sharia law in America, let me remind you that your position is strictly anti-American. If sharia law is to be banned, according to the logic extended by you, then

Native American tribal courts on Indian reservations and rabbinical courts for Jews are to be banned along with Catholic Cannon laws, which serve approximately sixty million Catholics in America. Cannon law is not designed to dissolve or replace the American Constitu-tion, anymore than the Jewish Beth Dins, or the Native American tribal judicial system or the Muslim sharia laws are designed to replace the American judicial system—however unfair that system may be to Black people in particular.

The Catholic Church, for example, does not believe in divorce, but church cannon allows for an annul-ment; therefore, in the eyes of the church, the marriage never took place. Civil law, however, holds both parties responsible for having entered into a viable contract.

Sharia law, likewise, does not trump or negate or replace American civil ordinances. Muslims are obligated to re-spect the laws of this country as long as those laws do not violate the articles of their belief sys-tem. How is that any different from any other monotheistic religion? To insinuate otherwise is to display a severe case of

Islamophobia. And I am sure that as a Christian theo-crat that is not your intention. For Christ came for the salvation of all people who believe in Him, and Mus-lims surely believe in Him, as that is one of the staple principles of our faith.

Because of America’s pluralism, Native American courts, Beth Dins, Cannon law and sharia law are not a threat to the American body politic. In expressing such ignorance, irrationality and bigotry concerning sharia law, one risks being considered not only anti-Semitic, but anti-Indian, anti-Catholic and anti-American as well.

The essence of your attack seems to be more a pro-jection of your own biases. Instead, why don’t you give The Minister credit for his clear delivery of an uplift-ing, spirit-filled message to the future leaders of our community as he follows in the footsteps of Jesus and expertly addresses the ills of our society.
