The User Registration and Program View apps be installed and enabled for use in the system.
Training Unit – Create, Update and Delete:Creation of Training Unit:
1. Access the eTC environment with the role of NTC Admin / Training Unit Manager
2. Click the link - Sign In
3. Enter the Credentials in the Login Page and click the button - Login
4. Select Training Unit from the menu of Admin
5. Click the Plus Icon to create New Training Unit
6. Enter the Data for the fields in General Information as mentioned below
Training Unit ID - Enter the Data in Alphanumeric
Training Unit Name - Enter the Data in Alphanumeric
Description - Enter the Description for the Training Unit
Associate Approved Course Templates - Enter the Course Name to be used as template
Proficiency Level - Select the data from the drop down
Category - Select the data from the list
Prerequisite training units - Enter the Prerequisite for the training units
Catalog Start Date - Select the Hirji Date from the Calendar
Catalog End Date - Select the Hirji Date from the Calendar
Make it available in the Catalog and to Offering? - Set it to ‘1’
7. Enter the data for Image and Video as mentioned as below
Upload an Image - Upload an Image using the Browse Button
Add a Video URL - Enter the Video URL of Youtube, Vimeo, etc
8. In Approved Mentor, click the Plus Icon next to the Associate Approved Mentor
9. In the Peek Panel - Associate Mentor to Training Unit, select the option from the menu of Search and Operator, enter the text in text box and click the button – ‘Go’
10. In the ‘Associate?’ column, enable the status for the mentor and click the Submit button
11. Mentor is added in the Approved Mentors Section and click the button - Submit
12. On Successful creation of Training unit, it will be displayed in the Training Unit Management Page
Update of Training Unit:
1. Repeat the Steps 1 to 4 as mentioned in Creation of Training Unit
2. To search the Training Unit, enter the data of Training Unit ID / Name/ Description / Category in ‘Search Training Unit List’ Text Box and click the Enter key
3. Click the Training Unit ID and Update Training Unit Page is displayed in Peek Panel
4. Update the data in General Information / Image and Video / Approved Mentors, click the submit button and Data is updated successfully
Deletion of Training Unit:
1. Repeat the Steps 1 to 4 as mentioned in Creation of Training Unit
2. To search the Training Unit, enter the data of Training Unit ID / Name/ Description / Category in ‘Search Training Unit List’ Text Box and click the Enter key
3. Click the Training Unit ID and Update Training Unit Page is displayed in Peek Panel
4. Click the Delete Icon for deleting the Training Unit
Offering – Create, Update and Deletion:Creation of Offering:
1. Access the eTC environment with the role of NTC Admin / Offerings Manager
2. Click the link - Sign In
3. Enter the Credentials in the Login Page and click the button – Login
4. Select Offering from the menu of Admin
5. Click the Plus Sign to create new Offering
6. Enter the Data for the fields in General Information as mentioned below Offering ID - Enter the Data in Alphanumeric
Offering Name - Enter the Data in Alphanumeric
Please assign a Training Unit – Click the Plus Sign and in the peek panel of Add Training Unit, select the Training Unit directly from the list or search the Training Unit and then select it
Short Description – Enter the Short Description for the Offering
Additional Description (Appended to the bottom of the Training Unit Description) – Enter the Additional Description for the Offering
Link(Click here to read the Training Unit Description) – On Clicking the link description of Training Unit will be displayed in Peek Panel
Delivery Mode – Select ‘Self Paced’ from the list (Currently Self Paced is implemented only)
Select a Course Template - Select the Course Template from the drop down
Enrollment Start Date - Select the Hirji Date from the Calendar
Enrollment End Date - Select the Hirji Date from the Calendar
Enrollment Duration (Completion time of the course in days) – Enter the data for the enrollment duration in number
Max number of trainees per LMS course – Enter the data for Max number of trainees per LMS course in number
Make Enrollment available? – Set it to 1
Proficiency Level - Proficiency Level selected in the Training Unit will be displayed
Level of effort - Enter the Data for Level of effort in Alphanumeric
Completion Window – Enter the Data for Completion Window in Alphanumeric
Category – Category selected in the training unit, will be selected
Specific Requirements - Enter the Data for Specific Requirements of the Offering
Policies – Enter the Data for Polices of the Offering
Language – Select the Language from the drop down
Catalog Start Date – Select the Hirji Date from the Calendar
Catalog End Date - Select the Hirji Date from the Calendar
Make it available? - Set it to 1
7. Enter the Data for the fields in Image and Video as mentioned below
Override Training Unit image? - Set it to 1, if you want to override the Training Unit image
Add image URL – Add the Image using the Browse button
Override Training Unit video? – Set it to 1, if you want to override the Training Unit Video
Add video URL - Enter the Video URL in the text box
8.In Mentor, click the Plus Sign below the text - Assigned Mentors
9. In the Add Mentor to Offering Page, Mentor added in the Training Unit will be displayed, with the Assign? status is set to 0, change the Assign? status to 1, click the Submit button and added Mentor will be displayed in text box of Assigned Mentors
10. Click the Submit button, on successful creation, Offering will be displayed in the Offering Management Page
Update of Offering:
1.Repeat the steps from 1 to 4 mentioned in creation of Offering
2. To search the Offering for Update, enter the data of Offering ID / Offering Name / Description / Training Unit Name in ‘Search Offering List’ Text Box and click the Enter key
3. Click the Offering, Update Offering Page is displayed in Peek Panel
4. Update the data in General Information / Image and Video / Mentor, click the submit button and Data is updated successfully
Deletion of Offering:
1.Repeat the steps from 1 to 4 mentioned in creation of Offering
2. To search the Offering for delete, enter the data of Offering ID / Offering Name / Description / Training Unit Name in ‘Search Offering List’ Text Box and click the Enter key
3. Click the Offering, Update Offering Page is displayed in Peek Panel
4. To Delete the Offering, click the Delete Icon
Mentor Management:Creation of Mentor Profile:
1. Access the eTC environment with the role of NTC Admin / Mentors Manager
2. Click the link Sign Up
3. Select Mentors from the Menu of Admin
4. In the Mentor Management Page, click the Plus Icon next to the Search Mentor List for creating the Mentor Profile
5. In the Add Approved Mentor Profile Page, search the Mentor and added it to the eTC Portal
6. Click the Mentor and Create Mentor Profile Page is displayed in peek panel
7. Enter the data for Mentor Profile as mentioned below and click the Submit button Mentor User ID - Pre Populated from LMS Mentor Name - Pre Populated from LMS Job Title - Pre Populated from LMS Social Id - Enter the Social ID of the Mentor Category - Select the Category from the List Skills – Enter the Skills of the Mentor Credentials - Enter the Credentials of the Mentor Biography – Enter the Biography of the Mentor Profile Picture – Upload the Profile Picture of the Mentor
8. Created Mentor will be displayed in the Mentor Management Page
Update of Mentor Profile:
1. Repeat the Steps from 1 to 3 as mentioned in Creation of Mentor Profile
2. To search the Mentor for Update , enter the data of Mentor Name / Job Title / Skills in ‘Search Mentor List’ Text Box and click the Enter key
3. Click the Mentor and Update Approved Mentor Profile Page is displayed in Peek Panel
4.Update the data of the Mentor and click the Submit button
